FLOW Yoga, Movement & Massage with Elyse Adelson

r journey began as a Division 1 Track & Field athlete before discovering yoga in 2003, leading her to earn certifications in a fabulous mix of styles, including Vinyasa, Budokon, and Prenatal Yoga, while specializing in trauma-informed practices. Elyse also offers Pilates (both mat and reformer), Thai massage, Aerial yoga, and somatic exercises, enriching her diverse teaching repertoire. An explorer, ecologist, and educator of movement, she embodies a continuous curiosity for learning and sharing experiences in yoga, biomechanics, and embodiment practices. Known for her fun and “let’s embrace awkward” attitude, Elyse invites students to meet themselves where they are, utilizing diverse movement, biomechanics, and yoga therapy with a playful “what if” approach. As the founder of Flow Yoga School, she leads continuing education workshops and is gearing up for her 500 hr Yoga Teacher Training in November 2025. When she's not teaching, she enjoys trail running, exploring the outdoors, and time with her greatest teacher, her daughter, Anava.
