We hope you had a great holiday season, and are ready to get back into gymnastics mode! Only one meet this weekend for our roster, but it’s a big one — Amy is set to make her NCAA debut for Western Michigan as they host Wilberforce.

It’s our first meet week of the regular season, and we’re hitting FOUR competitions! Maccabi Canada’s gymnasts will be competing at the Big Apple Classic (Long Island, NY), AIM’s Winter Classic (Pickering, ON), the Ben Cirka Cup (Las Vegas, NV) and the Winter Wonderland Qualifier (Burlington, ON). Chazak v’Ematz! 💪

Tomorrow kicks off the meet season for our 2026 Maccabiah gymnasts! Some of Ontario’s optional level gymnasts will be competing at Tour Selection, where a top 8 all-around placement secures a spot on Team Ontario.

We’re in the thick of competition season for all three gymnastics disciplines going to the Maccabiah!

Two MAG meets this weekend will be the final tune up before the country’s top artistic gymnasts meet in Markham, ON for Elite Canada. Out west, the RG season begins in Vernon at the Queen of Hearts meet! Down in the NCAA, the Lindsey Ferris Invitational hosted by George Washington University will feature Maccabiah competitors past and present.

Week two of the 2024-25 season is underway! Maccabi Canada team members from Ontario will be representing their home clubs in the first of the province’s three-meet qualifier series.

Regular season begins today on our road to M25! With two WAG qualifiers in Ontario and a MAG invitational in Rhode Island, there’s plenty of Maccabi action to go around.

We’re wishing the best of luck to our gymnasts as they represent their home clubs over the next few days 💪🏼

We're looking for the last few gymnasts to complete our 2025 Maccabiah – מכביה Canadian team, with limited roster space still open in these disciplines/ages:

- WAG Junior (2010-2011), min. level 7
- MAG Junior (2007-2010) and Open (2006+), min. P3
- RG Junior (2010-2011) and Open (2009+)

Gymnasts can earn performance based grants for any of the following achievements: top 10 AA at national championships (must be in novice/aspire, junior elite, or senior elite), competing at a major multisport games, or being a carded national team athlete.

We're in the home stretch on our search for Canada's top Jewish gymnasts, born in 2011 or earlier, to compete at next summer's Maccabiah Games! The Maccabiah Games are a major international sports event, held every four years in Israel with over 80 participating nations across 40 sports. Gymnastics has a rich history at these Games, with many NCAA, World Championship, and Olympic gymnasts having competed in past editions.

Our entire men’s team added to ‘s medal tally this past Tuesday in TLV. Congrats to our trio of Gabe, Jayden and David for taking a bronze in the junior team final, and Evan for his bronze in open floor! 🥉🥉
