Here’s everything you need to know before you vote!
Election Day is Tuesday, October 27th, and whether it’s your first time voting in Israel or you’ve done it before, there are a few important things to know to make sure your vote counts.
🗳️ Here’s the breakdown:
📍 Where to vote: Google “איתור קלפי” and use the official gov.il website to find your polling station (kalpi). Make sure to check because it might not be near where you currently live!
🕖 When: Tuesday, October 27th, from 7 AM to 10 PM. Election Day is also a national day off!
🪪 What to bring: Your original Israeli Teudat Zehut, driver’s license, or passport.
✉️ How to vote: You’ll receive an envelope, choose your party’s slip behind the voting screen, seal the envelope, and drop it into the ballot box.
⚠️ Be careful! Putting slips from different parties in the same envelope or making certain other mistakes could invalidate your vote.
🔤 Know your letters! Each party has its own Hebrew letters on the ballot, so make sure you know which ones you’re looking for.
