Hetchins was a prominent British bicycle manufacturer established by Hyman Hetchin in the early 1930s. Their distinctive lug work and unique curly rear ends made their frames instantly recognizable even from a distance.
The Massed Start model was a racing machine. It appeared in only one catalog, for 1948.
