When we draw a mandala, the mind is focused whole-hearted on the present creative expression; the need for a particular result is released opening the door for full potential and intuition to develop. Healing is present when our Intuition governs the drawing impulse which is pure from judgment and rational polarity. “The decision must be carried out with a whole heart, and the result not sought for, the result will come on itself” (The Secret of the Golden Flower by Carl Jung and Richard Wilhelm).
