Big smiles after TCS Chennai was crowned the Corporate Olympiad Champions of Chennai for the 2nd time in their history in 2017 by breaking the jinx after 9 long years.

2017 Edition of Corporate Olympiad saw 38 Corporate teams from Chennai participated which was played in knockout format:

Round 1: TCS vs Mahindra & Mahindra:Won 3-0

Pre-Quaters: TCS vs Decathlon: 1-1 , Won in
penalties sudden death 8-7

Quaters: TCS vs Infosys: 0-0 , Won in penalties 4-3

Semifinals: TCS vs Hinduja Leyland Finance: Toughest match of the tournament with TCS winning 1-0 in final minutes

Finals: TCS vs Bnp paribas: 0-0, won in penalties 3-2

Flash Back to when TCS Chennai Football Club won the Sports Corporate Champions League Season 1 trophy and Fair Play award!!

Top 8 Corporates from Chennai were competing for the coveted trophy!!First round was a knockout round in which TCS FC knocked out Infosys 1 - 0.

The next round happened to be the Round Robin Finals against 3 other teams BNP, Apollo Tyres and HCL.

Winning the first round robin match against BNP 2 - 0, we comfortably overcame Apollo Tyres with a dominating 3 - 0 victory.

Inspite of many attempts, we failed to score the goal against HCL in the final round robin game, yet a draw was enough to seal the Corporate Champions Trophy 2016!!

This trophy was even more sweet since it came with a clean sheet!!
