A spirited Commonwealth Games campaign comes to a close for VBF judoka Harsh Tokas, who delivered a commendable performance representing Team India at Glasgow 2026.

​In the Men's -81kg repechage, Harsh defeated Samoa’s Peniamina Percival by Ippon, scoring two waza-aris in just over a minute to advance to the bronze medal bout.

Though he narrowly missed out on a podium finish following a tough contest against Australia’s Keishin Ochi, his fighting spirit throughout the tournament makes us immensely proud! 🇮🇳👏

A spirited Commonwealth Games campaign comes to an end for VBF judoka Rohit Basir Majgul, who represented Team India with courage, determination, and heart. 🧡

Rohit began his campaign in style, defeating Samuel Ribeiro (Mozambique) by Ippon in the Round of 16. He then pushed top seed Petros Christodoulides (Cyprus) to Golden Score in a hard-fought quarterfinal before narrowly missing out on a semifinal berth.

In the repechage, Rohit went down narrowly to England's Michael Fryer by a Yuko (1-2), bringing his CWG 2026 journey to a close.

High-Performance Training Camp in Daegu, South Korea 🇰🇷

For 19 days, our VBF Archers trained in one of the world's strongest archery systems, gaining invaluable exposure to elite coaching and competition.

Alongside coach Jang Junha, our athletes trained with Kim Kibum and Yoo Seulha of Keimyung University, both current members of the Korean National Reserve Team, and Kim Surin of the Daegu Seo-gu Office Team, a former Korean National Team member.

Yoo Seulha arrived at the camp after an outstanding performance at the 2026 Conquest Cup in Istanbul, winning 🥇 Women's Individual, 🥇 Women's Team, 🥈 Mixed Team, and finishing first in qualification.

Training alongside athletes competing at this level gave our archers a deeper understanding of the technical precision, discipline, and standards required to succeed on the world stage.

Every international experience strengthens our journey towards the Olympic dream. 🇮🇳🏹
