As a working professional you need extra care for your body
It’s more important for you to move the right way in order not to strain the muscle yet work on it to strengthen it up 💫
Here are a few yoga poses for those who sit for long duration at work :-
Utkatasana : The Chair Pose is a wonderful yoga pose to impart strength to the glutes and quads. We normally sit in weird positions which put pressure on these muscles causing back pain or sciatica pain. Hence doing the chair yoga pose will help to make these muscles strong and firm
2) Adhomukhshvanasana : The Downward Facing Dog Pose is excellent to take off weight from the shoulders and works wonders for stiff back caused due to incorrect posture
3) Ananada balansana: The Happy Baby Yoga Pose is an amazing hip opener; long day at work can cause clogging of creativity and most times makes you feel low hence the happy baby pose of yoga will help to relieve stress clogged and let the creativity flow
4) Uttanpadasana : Legs Up is a boon for those who sit and work for long hours. Hanging legs cause vericose veins and pain in legs hence this yoga pose helps to reduce them.
Yoga for working professionals need to be special and to be done daily.

I feel shy 🙈 to speak out my learning’s and how many years of yoga practice I hold…
But off late I keep getting asked about my qualifications, my work style and experience so here is me, sharing my learning experiences

Meditation is often misunderstood as a medium to calm down; but it does much more than just calming down!
Meditation is an art to be able to dive into the facets of brain 🧠 and be able to become aware of the complex 🧬 neural network of the brain
Meditation 🧘🏻♀️ is a tool 🔨 to fix neural pathways and be able to increase neuro plasticity
Building new neural network and create new thinking patterns helps in changing mindset which happens with regular meditation 🧘🏻♀️

Do you use yoga props??? 🤔
Yoga Props not only helps to enhance your body capacity and flexibility but also they aid in medical care as well 🥰
Often my new yoga students feel incompetent when I ask them to use yoga props; but in reality yoga props help them to get into yoga asana with ease and hold there for long duration ⏰
Here I am demonstrating a few yoga asanas with Yoga props:
🌈 Veerbhadhrasana : When done using yoga chair, one can engage the back leg well and bend back well
🌈 Padangushtasana : When done by keeping leg on wall, helps to open up the hip flexor more
🌈 Veerasana : Using bolster under buttocks help to put less pressure on knees
Yoga props are to help the yoga seeker to improve their yoga practice..

Protecting INDIVIDUAL SELF 🏰 is of prime importance when we learn boundary setting.
While learning to set boundaries 🤓 one can be tempted, lured 🤤 to fall prey to “Being Nice” “Pleasing Others” but that’s something which one needs to avoid in order to grow and heal ❤️🩹

During our first ever Yoga Retreat we focused on building Inner Sanctuary through various yogic activities and meditations from tantras ✡️ 🕉️ 🛐
It’s often easy to get carried away by the ways and means of life, your Inner Sanctuary during that time will be a healthy tool to protect your individual self and get you back to the centre ♻️

Yoga for Mental Health Awareness in a Corporate Workspace setup is not very common; but the team made it happen! Mental health is always isn’t about being stress free, but it more than that it is about:
• Learning to identify stress
• Understanding different approaches to handle various categories of stress
• Learning tools to combat varieties of stress

We mixed art therapy and yoga to create an understanding about mindfulness and also try on various methods to combat stress.

Meditation is one aspect of yoga which draws many but when they experience the practice it’s often overwhelming to be able to hold on to the practice of meditation 🧘🏻♀️
From my experience of 13 years into teaching yoga and meditation I would recommend to first practice
1️⃣ ASANAS
2️⃣ PRANAYAMA
3️⃣ DHYAAN (Meditation)
The body needs to be open enough to be able to store the energy and upsurge its flow 💫
Here are a few tips which one can use to start their meditation practice:-
🕊️ Be in a quiet calm spot
🕊️ Start by focusing on withdrawal of senses
🕊️ Use breath as a medium to transition from outer world to inner realm
🕊️ Tap into inner mind screen
🕊️ Simply be a observer of experiences and accept with full patience without judgements
