Dr Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam in short Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, the missile man of India has left for his heavenly abode with similar hypersonic speed which he urged Indian scientists to dream for developing Brahmos Hypersonic reusable missile.

Though he came from a very humble family of fishermen from Dhanuskoti- Rameshwaram, it did not deter him to dream big for himself and his nation. He started working early in childhood to supplement his family`s income. A child who started his earning with selling newspaper reached to the highest position of being President of a Nation. He struggled to pursue his dream day and night. His inquisitive mind made him a great teacher for life. It was his passion to teach and he ensured it even on the very last day of his life. Yesterday he was at Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shilong to deliver lecture to post graduate students where he suffered a massive heart attack.

He subscribed to the philosophy of World Citizen and has once said- " I am a world citizen, every citizen is my own kith and kin". He lived the same philosophy till the last moment of his life. The "Inquisitive Mind" is no more with us but he has left several "Ignited Minds" on a job to achieve the target set my him in " India 2020". A real Role Model, an " Indomitable Spirit", a "True Statesman", a great source of inspiration for generations to come, People`s President and above all a great human being shall always be remembered for ages across the globe.

Sharing his one remarkable teaching which I am sure shall be a befitting tribute to the Great Teacher.
