It is an honor to be a part of the sixth cohort of , which is part of the Atal Innovation Mission Official in Sports Tech by NITI Aayog and Startup Réseau .

As a Game Tech startup, our goal is to create a seamless technology experience around gaming and to raise the INDIAN FLAG around the world with the help of our products and expertise.

On September 27th, we will launch our first flagship product, an online mobile application called Gam'O'Verse, with the hope of catering to some very early users.

Our CEO Mr. Akanksh Joshi narrates why we are called what we are called!

Today, a gamer called me up, after our usual conversation about gaming, Dhruv, at last, asked me about the name "JOYNNJOY", why the name, and the flagship product Gam'O'verse.

I am sure a lot of you also must be wondering the same.

Hence,

1. Joy is my nickname, and my father used to do occasional festive trading under the same name, JOYNNJOY. So, I thought let’s take the legacy ahead in my domain, which of course is gaming, and began my entrepreneurial journey as the JOYNNJOY Gaming Pvt. Ltd.

2. A lot of brainstorming happened over a couple of days where I along with the co-founders, Aalap Pandya & Prashant Jaiswal suggested various names. Then finally I came up with the name Gam’O’Verse and they liked it so much. My interpretation of the same was Gam stands for Gaming, O would be the Umbrella or the one-stop esports ecosystem and Verse would stand in the Meta and Multi concept. Our investor made it easy, he (mis)interpreted it as Gaming’s Universe, further simplifying it as Gam’O’Verse means Gaming ka Naya Universe.

Such conversations make me think, that I am the chosen one to build the Esports ecosystem!
