My Chess Trip a project which is very close to my heart is already on where Catalan Circuit is shaping really great. Some serious talent from India is playing and we are seeing the results.

Its going to be a lengthy post as 90% of them are performing. Let me start Congratulating Vihaan Dawda from Pune who won the Barbera B (U-2100) Group was undefeated through out the event, Stood 2nd in Sant Marti B group being a conistent player. He started the tour with 1800 and increased 183.2 points in Barbera and 119.2 points crossed 2100 in live rating hoping him to see 2200 after Sitges event.

A big shout to Midilesh MS from Tamil Nadu learning from GM Shyam Sundar stood 7th at Barbera U-2100 from there winning the Sant Marti B Group increasing 261 points in 2 tournaments expecting him to cross 2150 in Sitges tournament. Talent to look out for!!!!!!

Vivaan Vishal Shah pocket rocket from Surat, Gujarat student of Siddhant Gaikwad is playing in form of his life.. He stood 10th in the A category of Sant Marti Open GM , his starting rank was 31 and came ahead of many IMS with a performance rating of 2249 increased around 87 points in 2 tournaments, has almost reached 2200 and expecting him to return around 2300.

Reyan Mohammad solid player from Bihar this kid is surely to watch out for learning from Siddhant Gaikwad started the tour with 2022 increasing 185 points in total and crossed 2200 in current list. He played wit a 2300+ performance rating at Barbera and gave Gm's a run for there money expected to finish the tour 2350+

Kaivalya Sandip Nagare from Pune is being playing some exceptional Chess and he as awarded in Barbera Open A Category and Sant Marti for performing the best U-18 and in his rating category. Always Smiling kid has a lot of talent and is increasing 170 points started with a rating of 2108 has crosed 2280+ and is expected to touch 2400 by the end of the tour. In both the tournaments he has stood 16th and 13th which is a respective place in the A open category.

Abel Sajan Paul from Kerela now living in Qatar student of GM Stany has been performing best of his life and is increasing 160 points in A category he started 1946 ELo but has already crossed 2106 in living rating which is a phenomenal effort.

Harsh*t Pawar an established 2300 player intially founded difficult to find his jinx but in Sant Marti he exceeded all the expectations and secured 5th Rank in the Open category. Hopefully he will secure an IM norm at Sitges or Badalona

Aarush Baban Dolas student of Abhishek Kelkar started of tour with lot of difficulty and adding 9 Elo points in the first tournament to playing solidly in second where he stood 5th staying unbeaten in the tournament and increasing 120 Elo points in total

With My Chess Trip is not about increasing or decreasing rating its about the right guidance along with ease of travel without Parents needing to travel, which can save cost also can help if both parents are proffessional and unable to find time. I must say for all of them its not aboutChess achievements but the exposure they have got is tremendous.

Special Thank to all Parents and coaches who has believed in and sent there piece of jewel there kids who are just 12 years to 16 years old on a trip of 40 days.
