The Mizoram Badminton Association proudly congratulate Sainunmawia Sailo and his partner Rish*ta Pandey for winning the Silver Medal in the Yonex-Sunrise All India Junior Ranking Badminton Tournament 2026, held at Bangalore from 3rd to 10th May 2026.

Sainunmawia is a resident of Ramhlun Venglai, Aizawl, Mizoram and son of Saizama Sailo, and the pair secured a thrilling semi-final victory over Mohammad Ali Mir and Shambavi Rauthan by 21-19, 14-21, 21-14, before narrowly going down in the final to Punith S. and Deepak Raj Aditi by 17-21, 21-16, 21-17.

The mizoram Badminton Association wishes both players continued success and many more accomplishments in the future.

The Mizoram Badminton Association extends its heartfelt congratulations to the following players from Mizoram for their outstanding achievements in securing multiple medals, including silver and bronze, across various categories at the recently concluded Yonex-Sunrise 48th Indian Masters (Veteran) National Badminton Championship 2026.
The tournament was held in Goa from 18th to 25th March, 2026.
