Nepliy Clinches Title at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Open Endurance $15,000 ITF Women’s Tennis Tournament
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, April 4, 2026: Fourth seed Elina Nepliy of Russia emerged victorious to claim the singles title at the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Open Endurance $15,000 ITF Women’s Tennis Tournament, organized by EMMTC in association with the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation, under the auspices of the All India Tennis Association (AITA) and the Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA), at the Endurance-MSLTA Marathwada Tennis Centre (EMMTC), and played at the Divisional Sports Complex.
In the final, Nepliy delivered a commanding performance to defeat the sixteen year old Tea Kovacevic of Bosnia and Herzegovina 6-2, 6-1 in 1 hour and 16 minutes.
The winner received $2116 and 15 WTA points, while the runners-up earned $1323 and 10 points along with the trophy.

Chatrapati Sambhajinagar, April 4, 2026: Sixteen year old Tea Kovacevic of Bosnia Herzegovina edged past top seed Zhibek Kulambeyeva to enter the singles finals of the the Chatrapati Sambhajinagar Open Endurance $15,000 Women's ITF Tennis Tournament organized by EMMTC in association with Chatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation under the Auspices of the All India Tennis Association (AITA) and the Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA) being played at the Endurance-MSLTA Marathwada Tennis Centre (EMMTC) at Divisional Sports Complex Chh. Sambhajinagar.
In the singles semifinals, the sixteen year old rising star Tea Kovacevic edged past top seed Zhibek Kulambayeva in a thrilling contest 7-5, 6-7(3), 7-6(4) that lasted 3 hours and 22 minutes to make her maiden career final, she will take on Russian Elina Nepliy who got a walk over from second seed Zeel Desai
In the doubles finals The top-seeded pair of Zhibek Kulambayeva of Kazakhstan and Russian Ekaterina Yashina dominated the final, defeating third seeds Anastasiya Kuparev of Germany and Sevil Yuldasheva of Uzbekistan 6-1, 6-4 to claim the title.
The winning duo received their second title in a row $950 and 15 WTA points, while the runners-up earned $550 and 8 points along with the trophy.

Chatrapati Sambhajinagar, April 2, 2026: Second seed Zeel Desai, Wildcard Madhurima Sawant and unseeded Jennifer Luikham entered the singles quarter finals at the Chatrapati Sambhajinagar Open Endurance $15,000 Women's ITF Tennis Tournament organized by EMMTC in association with Chatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation under the Auspices of the All India Tennis Association (AITA) and the Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA) gets underway at the Endurance-MSLTA Marathwada Tennis Centre (EMMTC) at Divisional Sports Complex Chh. Sambhajinagar.
Wildcard Madhurima Sawant edged past Yashaswini Panwar 6-3, 7-6(1) in a closely fought encounter between wildcards , Jennifer Luikham delivered a convincing 6-1, 6-2 stopping the winning run of Sonal Patil in a battle of Indians .
Top seed Zhibek Kulambayeva of Kazakhstan registered a commanding 6-4, 6-0 win over India’s Saumya Ronde to move into the quarterfinals. Second seed Zeel Desai continued her fine form with a dominant 6-2, 6-0 victory against Amodini Naik.
Sixth seed Ksenia Laskutova also advanced after defeating Harshini N Nagaraj 6-1, 7-5, while fourth seed Elina Nepliy cruised past Sevil Yuldasheva of Uzbekistan 6-1, 6-2. Seventh seed Elena Jamshidi from Denmark was tested but prevailed 6-4, 7-5 against Sandeepti Singh Rao.
The biggest upset of the day came from Tea Kovacevic (Bosnia & Herzegovina), who stunned third seed Ekaterina Yashina in straight sets 6-3, 6-0 to book her place in the last eight.
In the doubles, the top-seeded pair of Zhibek Kulambayeva and Ekaterina Yashina advanced to the next round. Third seeds Anastasiya Kuparev (Germany) and Sevil Yuldasheva (Uzbekistan) also progressed, as did the Indian duo of Saumya Ronde and Chevika Reddy Sama, who defeated Yashaswini Panwar and Saumya Vig 6-4, 6-4.
Second seeds Soha Sadiq and Madhurima Sawant were impressive, registering a 6-4, 6-0 win over Diva Bhatia and Jennifer Luikham.

Chatrapati Sambhajinagar, March 30, 2026: Aakruti Sonkusare upset qualifying top seed Laxmisiri Dandu 1-6, 4-6, 16-14 to qualify for the main draw at the Chatrapati Sambhajinagar Open Endurance $15,000 Women's ITF Tennis Tournament organized by EMMTC in association with Chatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation under the Auspices of the All India Tennis Association (AITA) and the Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA) gets underway at the Endurance-MSLTA Marathwada Tennis Centre (EMMTC) at Divisional Sports Complex Chh. Sambhajinagar.
In a thrilling final qualifying round encounter, eleventh seeded Aakruti Sonkusare staged a remarkable comeback to defeat top seed Laxmisiri Dandu 1-6, 4-6, 16-14 in a marathon super tie-break finish.
Harshini N Nagaraj upset second seed Ekaterina Khodzhaeva of Russia 6-1, 6-3 to make it to main draw and ensure eight Indian girls qualified for the main draw
Danica Fernando , Amodini Naik, Jeetesh Kumari, Chevika Reddy Sama, Jennifer Luikham and Saumya Ronde were the other players to qualify for the main draw which gets underway on Monday.
Winner of the similar event at Nagpur last week Zhibek Kulambayeva of Kazakhstan will lead the singles seeding followed by Zeel Desai who is the only Indian to be seeded
