Overconfident costs India to lose the ODI series 2-0 still one more match to go.

Good comeback by the Kiwis after their humiliating whitewash in the recently concluded T20 series against India. Outstanding performance from Tim Southee and debutant Kyle Jamieson helped New Zealand to a nail-biting 22-run victory over Team India in their second one day international at Eden Park in Auckland on Saturday and won the three-match series in style with one more game to go.

After a strong come back India was dismissed for 251 in 48.3 overs with Ravindra Jadeja (55) turned the match from the worst defeat to some consolation for the team total before ending with a fighting total. Ravindra Jadeja started his innings with Indian total at 96-5 and almost won the game in partnership with fast bowler Navdeep Saini (45).

Once again Martin Guptill scored 50+ and gave a good partnership and New Zealand Hitman Ross Taylor scored a quickfire 73 along with debutant Kyle Jamieson who scored 25 from 24 balls to put a decent total.

Will India white wash 5-0 ?

There are three turning points in this T20 series between India Vs New Zealand. The first one they wanted to register their 1st match of this T20 series, they have won it and achieved the first target, Secondly, they wanted to win the series, they have won the series in style (historical super over) and thirdly, they wanted to test the bench strenght by playing with Sanju Samson and Navdeep Saini by resting hitman Rohit Sharma and danger man Mohammed Shami, they have won the match with second consecutive Super Over win. Now they wanted to clinch the series with a possible whitewash.

For New Zealand, all is not going well they have already lost the series and they have played the 4th T20 without their regular captain Kane Williamson who has been opted out due to injury. Now the only option left out for New Zealand is to win the final match, a consolation win can boost the morale of the team before going to the big litmus test by playing three ODI's and two ICC test against Team India.

Will the wounded Kiwis come back strongly in tomorrow's match and register their first win of the series, let us wait and watch.

India finally won the T20 series and now they will try to make 4-0 before playing the final match on Sunday.

Now India may take the option of testing the bench strength by experimenting with Rishab Pant and Sanju Samson. The only advantage Team India currently having is they have already won the series and keeping in mind ICC T20 World Cup they may change the playing eleven.
Sanju Samson and Rishabh Pant are waiting for opportunities, with the former expected to get a look-in. Pant's call-up would depend on which batsman is left out, and whether KL Rahul will continue to keep wickets.

The last two matches, back-to-back in Wellington and Mt. Maunganui on Friday and Sunday, respectively.

History was created at Hamilton where India registered their first-ever series victory over New Zealand.

After successive two failures, Rohit Sharma came good with the bat hitting two sixes off the final two deliveries of a Super Over to give India victory in a nail-biting finish in the third Twenty20 international against New Zealand at Seddon Park in Hamilton on Wednesday and won the series 3-0 with two games to go.

Rohit Sharma started his innings smashing a half-century, and in the Super Over finished on 15 not out by smashing two sixes off Tim Southee to lead India to 20-0 after New Zealand scored 17-0 in their over bowled none other than Jasprit Bumrah, with Kane Williamson scoring 11, while Martin Guptill scoring five runs.

Captain Williamson came good with the bat by scoring quickfire 95 from 48 single-handedly took the game away from the indians but it was Mohd Shami who turned the match form the jaws of defeat for a tie where Kiwis needing two runs form three balls for a victory. India's danger man Shami conceded only one run through a bye on the penultimate ball then bowled Ross Taylor on the final delivery as the match finished in a tie and settled for a Super Over
