The TRX Plank is the cornerstone position for any exercise on the TRX, and should be the core of any core training program. It is the single most important exercise to master because it applies to almost every physical thing you do.
Start with your knees, palms and forearms on the ground and your feet directly under the anchor point. Drive up into a plank with a solid core contraction. Your contraction should drive this movement. You’ll know that you are in the correct position when your ears, shoulders, hips, knees and ankles are all in line. This is the position you need to hold for the entire duration of this exercise.
This position engages your core, glutes and back. This position plays a critical role in almost every movement on the TRX as well as in just about every kind of strength training you will perform.

HALF LORD OF THE FISH POSE
Ardha Matsyendrasana (pronounced ar-DHUH mutts-YEN-drah-suh-nuh), also known as the Half Lord of The Fish pose, Half Spinal Twist Pose, Ardha Matsyendrasana is one of the best twisting postures. The entire spine gets rotated around its axis. Moreover, your spine also gets two side twists throughout its length. The levers used for these extreme twists are the arms and the knees.
Health Benefits of Ardha Matsyendrasana:
Increases the elasticity of the spine, tones the spinal nerves and improves the functioning of the spinal cord.
Stretches the muscles on one side of the body whilst compressing the muscles on the other side.
Relieves back pain and stiffness from between the vertebrae.

In Sanskrit “Hala” means “Plough” and ‘asana‘ ‘means ‘pose‘. So it is known as Halasana (Plough pose). In this position, body shows the shape of the Plough. This pose gives flexibility to the spine as well as strengthens the back muscles.
