G Force Tennis Academy , Yelahanka , Bengaluru

G Force Tennis now operating at Play.XP, near Airport Toll, Dodajalla, Bengaluru conducted an Orange ball(U 10) and Green dot ball (U 12) tournament on 9th & 10 th Sep .
12 kids participated in Green dot and 18 kids in Orange ball .
It was really good to see kids compete in a very sporting manner and we also got see some really good matches from the upcoming young stars .
There were kids who traveller from Anantpur ( 2 hours drive ) and one kid came all the way from Udupi ! Love the dedication and commitment of parents and coaches !
Good mix of boys and girls for the event also !
It was also really great to see parents out there encouraging , cheering and supporting all kids during the matches .
We had my niece Kriti put up her baked goodies ( brand Krititouille) of brownies , cupcakes , garlic and peri peri cream cheese buns for parents and kids. Also had a live counter for classic bread omelets by Nazreen , sikander and managed by facility manager Prasanna !!.

The coaches of G Force ( Tony , Arun and Prathap ) were really helpful in guiding the kiddos on scoring and managing the umpiring of all matches .

Good to see some of the kids taking the heat off and enjoying themselves at the indoor pool at Play.XP after the matches!!

G Force Tennis academy was set up in 2019 and was operating at Yelahanka with 6 clay courts . Had over 120+ players( kids + adults ) in a month using the facility .Also was a great tournament venue where players from across Bengaluru used to participate
With fast urbanization and land acquisition by BDA for making layouts without any consideration of sporting facility for the community , we were forced to shut down our academy as of end July 2023 .
There is someone up there looking down and because of that we have been lucky to have found an existing facility to move to :
PLAY.XP , near the airport Toll , Doddajala .
G Force Tennis would be managing the existing 4 clay courts there fand started operations from Aug 5th with a Prize Money Seniors Team Tournament .
Play.XP is an excellent sporting and fitness centre which has 4 clay courts , a 25 metre indoor swimming pool , fitness centre , gym and a cafe ( will be operational from Sep)
Have been able to retain all my coaches and manpower during this transition .
We are determined to re-establish the place to be as popular as was at Yelahanka .
Looking forward to the support and encouragement from all our well wishers , players , friends and family .

This is a petition for retaining G Force Tennis academy where it is and request BDA to not from acquire the land for layout development and deprive the players and community from the benefits of the academy.

BDA is doing the Dr Shivaram Karanth Layout land acquisition which is a project for building BDA plots from Dodballarpur to Hesarghatta side ( total 3000+ acres ) the survey number on which G Force sits on is part of the same .

This would take a while but in order to put a representation to retain G Force and build the layout around it felt we should do the petition!

TENNIS SUMMER CAMP :

Hi , we at G Force Tennis Academy would be having summer camp for kids from 5 yrs to 17 yrs starting from 11th April to 3rd June 2023.
Timings would be morning 9.15 to 11 30 am and also 3.15 pm to 6.30 pm .Tuesday to Saturday.

The batch size would be maximum 6 in each so limited slots in each age group!
The options would have to be 10 day blocks as per dates given. The fee structure is also shown .

Sessions would be done for:
5 to 7 yrs - red ball program.
8 to 10 yrs - orange ball beginner and orange ball intermediate ( for those who have played before )
11 to 13 yrs - beginners, intermediate and advanced
13 to 17yrs - beginner, intermediate and advanced .
The advanced kids of 11 to 17 yrs would have 2 hour sessions from 9.15 to 11.30 am

For kids who have been taking sessions at G Force and is looking at their regular batch we would have 3 time slots every day for them ( provided there is minimum 3 in the batch )

G Force Tennis Academy has tied up with KSLTA to organize Karmataka State Ranking tournaments for all age categories from U10 to seniors .

G Force Tennis academy has 6 clay courts with 2 floodlit courts and is situated at Yelahanka opposite Shell Petrok Bunk on Dodballarpur road .

G FORCE TENNIS UTR FLEXI LEAGUE is back . Flexibility to play your group matches over a month .
How it works :
1. Players are grouped based on UTR ratings ( minm 5 max 8 in a group )
2. Groups
Unrated to 2 - group 1
2 to 4 another group and
4 + is the 3rd group.
3. Players coordinate within group and get to play all other players over the 4 weeks / weekends
4. Format - 2 sets of best of 11 games , 5-5 tiebreaker , 1set all decided by super tiebreaker.

Excellent opportunity for unrated and rated players to get more matches at convenient time slots .
Minimum 4 matches to max 7 matches over the 1 month for each player .
