Questions Families Should Ask About School Discipline
School discipline practices have shifted dramatically in recent years, following changes in schools and state policy. Data and research have illustrated the high rates of incidences. In response, many communities have worked to promote school safety and attendance by replacing exclusionary discipline methods with approaches that effectively prevent and address student misbehavior.
Parents should review their school's code of student conduct to learn their school's plan to safeguard student safety and learning, keep students in school, and ensure that discipline is administered fairly and equitably.
Below are five questions for which parents should know answers. If you can't find the answers, ask your school.
What does my school do to prevent misbehavior?
What behaviors place my child at risk of removal from class or school?
How and when does my school involve police?
Does my school use corporal punishment or seclusion and restraint?
What is restorative justice and is it used in my school?

There is no more important job in any society than raising children, and no more important influence on how children develop than their parents.
Parenting is one of the most researched areas in the entire field of social science.
Too many parents base their actions on gut reaction but some parents have better instincts than others. Many people use the same tactics their own parents used, and a lot of times that meant using really harsh discipline.
A parent's relationship with his or her child will be reflected in the child's actions -- including child behavior problems. If you don't have a good relationship with your child, they're not going to listen to you. Think how you relate to other adults. If you have a good relationship with them, you tend to trust them more, listen to their opinions, and agree with them. If it's someone we just don't like, we will ignore his or her opinion. These principles hold true for anyone who deals with children -- coach, teacher, babysitter.
As our ethos of early learning skills blended with football skills, we bring you some best parenting tips from the most trusted sources. “NAY WE SAY SOCCER STARS IS MORE THAN JUST FOOTBALL”.
