We dived deep into activities, reflections, and team-based learning — keeping energy high and engagement alive.

🌟 One of the most moving moments was our“𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐝 -𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐭”— a space where teachers acknowledged the moments they reacted.
Another activity was "𝐏𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤" - a way of showing appreciation to fellow teachers.
It reminded us all: sometimes the best reward is simply being seen and valued.

The session focused on how students can pitch their business ideas with clarity and confidence, and included a deep dive into the four essential elements of a powerful pitch:

I am deeply honoured and grateful to have been invited as the chairperson for the technical session at the International Conference on Life Skills Education (ICLSE’25) organized by the Centre for Life Skills Education, Kristu Jayanti College Autonomous.

It was a privilege to share insights on Real-Life Decision-Making Skills and contribute to such a meaningful discussion.

A special thanks to the Principal Fr. Dr. Augustine George, HOD Dr. Thomas Richard, and the organizing team for their warm hospitality and meticulous planning. The conference truly provided a wonderful platform to exchange knowledge and ideas on life skills for a better world.

During the session, I Spoke on 3 steps in making real-life decisions.

1. Challenge the Constraints – Thinking beyond limitations to unlock true potential.

2. Embrace a Pre-Mortem – Evaluating possible failures before taking action.

3. Check the Basics – Ensuring small details don’t lead to big mistakes.

I also had the opportunity to highlight how critical thinking, problem-solving, self-awareness, and emotional intelligence play a vital role in real-life decisions, including ethical dilemmas and crisis situations like Captain Sully Sullenberger’s incredible landing.

I truly appreciate the efforts of the college and the department in fostering discussions on practical life skills. Looking forward to more such enlightening interactions in the future.
