SBC rider team(Kurmi,Kirit,Mukul and Sumit) participated in Vodafone Cyclin Marathon 40k. An experience to remember !! Yesterday's rain helped with making entire inner ring road route clean(dust free). We started from SunCity at 4:45am sharp and were among first few rows at the start. Flag off dot at 5:45, initially got a scare with a rider felling off very badly at the start time sensor point(300 meters away from flag off), but he was attended swiftly by the medical staff. 40k riders need to do 4 loops of St John junction to Domlur flyover. Organisers managed entire route very well with required assistance to stop vehicular traffic movement,hydration points etc. most of us were initially worried about making to the finish line in 110 mins cut off, but we all managed pretty well within the limit. SBC ride with O2 trail gang. Awesome oxygen trail ride near Sarjapur. Refill of pure oxygen for a week !!!
