Calisthenics is an anywhere, anytime sort of workout. A bodyweight training program that is the truest form of strength training. No dumbbells, barbells, or machines. It's just you against gravity. Cheat gravity and beat gravity (momentarily at least) with a variety of exercises that train every muscle group, large and small.

Running is a brutal sport. Endurance being the name of the game. And there is much to endure in running. The long distances, aching muscles, aching joints, burning lungs and the list goes on. But there are some things that a runner does not, in fact must not, have to endure. Stiff muscles, for instance, stemming from poor mobility issues.
Lack of Mobility is an all too common issue amongst runners. Especially those who are always training. Never making the time for cross training. If you haven't heard it before let us be the first to tell you that Yoga is a great form of cross training for runners. In fact more beneficial than weight training. Two to three weekly sessions translates into better mobility in just a few weeks. Think of the benefits over a longer time period!
True distance runners should think long term. And in the long run the benefits of Yoga are too good to ignore. Improved mobility means greater range of motion and better running efficiency, less energy expenditure and faster times! So quit dragging your feet and register today for a free trial.

Everyone starts somewhere, but the difficulty arises when you have to keep going all by yourself. To stay motivated, it is best to surround yourself with a group that’s willing to pull you along. This is when you start to push yourself.

Everyday, we struggle to find a balance between work and home, we barely get a minute to ourselves, and the feeling of drowning starts to catch up.
The best way to deal with this is to make a little time, take a step back, sit down, close your eyes, and meditate.

Kids love having fun, but between school and computer games, the playground is forgotten.
