Congratulation Mr Alberto Riga od BTT on receiving the "ITF Award for service to the Game"

The International Tennis Federation grants annually the “ITF Award for the service to the game” in different modalities. In coaching the international body has distinguished this year Albert Riba, and the award has been delivered during the closing ceremony of the Worldwide Coaches Conference held from 5th to 10th November in Cancun (Mexico) in front of more than 800 coaches from all over the world. This award recognizes the work done on benefit of the game of tennis, and in previous years has been delivered to renowned coaches like Nick Bollitieri, Doug MacCurdy, Toni Nadal, Iván Molina and Jim Loer among others.

BTT player Joao Sousa wins KualaLumpur ATP-
The Portuguese and BTT player Joao Sousa won the ATP Malaysian Open of Kuala Lumpur by winning the final against Frenchman Julien Bennenteau by 2/6 7/5 and 6/4. Prior Joao had eliminated in the second round to Pablo Cuevas 4/6 7/5 and 6/0 and in the quarterfinals to top seed and world player nº 4 David Ferrer by 6/2 7/6. After this great victory, in the semifinals Joao needed to eliminate the German Jurgen Melzer, seeded fourth and 26th in the world to reach his first ATP final.
With this great results Joao, who started the week in 77th place in the ATP ranking reached its highest ranking in the position 51.
Joao has his first good results in youth competitions and has since continued throughout his career under the direction of BTT. He travels accompanied by the Portuguese BTT coach Frederico Marques and combines training in Valldoreix with worldwide competitions.
Joao has always been an example in BTT, as his full integration into the academy has allowed other players to share their time with him, training on court, in fitness sessions and during moments of rest. In recent years, his progression has been getting better ever, improving, under the direction of BTT coaches, technical, physical and mental aspects of his game, aspects really needed to get into the elite of world tennis.

Ryota Kishi trains with Rafa Nadal
The Japanese player of BTT Tennis Academy Ryota Kishi has traveled to Mallorca accompanied by fitness coach Marc Martí to train with Rafa Nadal for four days. This practice have served the world’s nº 1 player to complete his preparation for the Paris Master 1000 tournament to be held next week at the indoor Bercy arena in the French capital.

Davis Cup captain in the year 2000 when the Spanish team won the Davis Cup title for the first time.
