India, Bosnia hold fourth foreign office consultations

Both sides explored opportunities to expand student and youth exchange programs and promote tourism between their countries.

India and Bosnia held their fourth Foreign Office Consultations in Sarajevo. Arun Kumar Sahu, Additional Secretary (Central Europe) of the Ministry of External Affairs, led the Indian delegation. The Bosnian delegation was headed by Tarik Bukvic, Head of the Department for Asia and Africa at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a PIB release stated.

During the consultations, both sides conducted a comprehensive assessment of bilateral, regional, and international issues. Discussions covered progress in political relations, trade and investment, science and technology cooperation, cultural relations, and people-to-people contacts. Both sides explored opportunities to expand student and youth exchange programs and promote tourism between their countries.

Both sides exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest, including developments in their respective regions. Multilateralism, including BRICS, the United Nations, the European Union, and the Non-Aligned Movement, as well as global developments of mutual interest, were also discussed.

Sahu met with Marko Milisav and Maja Gacic, advisors to the chairwoman of the Presidency.
