Did you know that leg strength is strongly Linked to longevity? According to extensive physical research compiled by PubMed, higher lower-body muscular strength correlates with a significantly reduced risk of death.

Stronger leg muscles are crucial for maintaining mobility, independence, and balance, reducing the risk of falls.

You can build lower body strength by regularly incorporating exercises such as squats, lunges, calf raises, glute bridges, step ups etc. that target the lower body muscles into your weekly exercise programming. Do ensure you work with a qualified fitness professional to ensure proper form.

One of the most helpful things you can do for your well-being is to protect yourself from the noise - what to do, what not to do, how to do, when to do. No dearth of that in this day & age right?

The information overload and the misinformation on social media is a big problem being faced in the "health & fitness" space.

The need of the hour is to do something radical - mute the noise & instead focus on taking small consistent actions. Stuff you already know you should be doing for your good health. Stuff you cannot go wrong about.

We all have very limited energy so it serves us well to direct that energy towards taking action and being mindful about how we dissipate it with doomscrolling and information gathering.
