Eggs are a cheap source of protein. Add 2 to 3 full eggs and 3 to 6 egg whites to your diet everyday. Those doing heavy weight training can add more egg whites depending on their protein gap. 1 full egg gives 6 grams of protein and 1 egg white 3.3 gm of protein. A sedentary individual needs 0.8 gm protein per kg body weight, an active individual needs 1 gm protein per kg body weight and an individual doing weight training in gym should take 1.5 gm protein per kg body weight.
