Bhartiya National Youth Day holds a special place in the hearts of people of a young country like ours- BHARAT, as it reminds us of the Great Visionary Saint, Swami Vivekananda.

The year 2024, 'The Amrit Kala' period of Bharat when Ram Rajya, an ideal state of a country, which Swamiji dreamt of, appears at Horizon. This brings with it a surge of Emotions and Inspiration for the Youth of our Nation.

It is a day that fills us with a sense of Nationalism, Unity and Optimism, Empowering us to shape a Brighter Future. We gather together to celebrate our potential and pay homage to the teachings of Swami Vivekananda, who believed in the power of youth to bring about positive change.

It is a day that reminds us of our responsibility to contribute to the progress and development of our beloved Nation. Let us come together on this day to pledge our commitment to our motherland, to embrace unity in diversity, and to strive for excellence in all that we do.

Today on the evening of 2nd December, let’s remember what happened on the midnight of 3rd December 1984 at Bhopal, MP India.

39 years ago, the Bhopal gas tragedy tore through lives, leaving an indelible mark that resonates even today. The scars left by this catastrophic event are etched not just in history books but in the lives and stories of countless individuals. After the tragic aftermath, a powerful realization emerged—a call for sustainable development and strong environmental protection. This also led to the formulation of the Environment Protection Act in 1986, a pivotal legislation addressing environmental concerns. At SENSED, our dedication to the Society, for Environment & Sustainable Development was born from this imperative.

The remembrance of this tragedy launched us to advocate diligently for a safer & more sustainable future. As we pay homage to the past, let's also recognize the path forward. This day serves as a poignant reminder of why Sustainable Development is crucial—it's not just a principle; it's a commitment to ensure that tragedies like Bhopal never recur.

Our thoughts remain with the affected families as we strive for a future where safety, justice, and sustainable development intertwine.
