Recently, The Kabadiwala conducted a training session for waste pickers to promote the safe collection and recycling of used beverage cartons (UBCs). Along with awareness on recycling and safety practices, we also incentivized them for their valuable contribution.

In partnership with Tetra Pak India, we've been working across Bhopal, Nagpur, Lucknow, and Raipur to increase UBC collection through awareness drives and collaborations with waste pickers, kabadiwalas, institutions, societies, and bulk generators.

Every used beverage carton deserves a second life. Recycle it responsibly or sell it through along with your other recyclables.

When collected and recycled responsibly, it can be transformed into notebooks, boards, stationery, and other useful products, reducing landfill waste and conserving valuable resources.

The challenge is ensuring these cartons are collected, segregated, and sent for recycling instead of ending up in landfills.

Through the initiative, The Kabadiwala and Tetra Pak India are making beverage carton recycling more accessible across multiple cities, empowering citizens to take a simple yet meaningful step towards sustainability.
