Kuldeep Gupta, CEO Flagged Off Junior National Kabaddi Teams
General Secretary of J & K Amateur Kabaddi Association, Surinder Mohan Gupta, told that
J&K UT Kabaddi team left for 49th Junior National Kabaddi Championship in both boys
and girls section to be held at Hyderabad from 1st to 4th Feb 2024. The UT team will
participate under the banner of J & K Amateur Kabaddi Association and J&K Sports
Council.
Sh. Kuldeep Gupta – CEO, J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association distributed track suits and
sports kits among the selected players in the presence of Dr. Jagandeep Singh, Mr. Sandeep
Singh Risan and Mr. Suraj Bhan Singh, Manager, Indoor Stadium.
Mr. Baljinder Singh, Divisional Sports Officer, and his team also screened the team.
Sh. Anil Gupta – President, J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association also blessed the UT
Kabaddi teams for Championship.
The UT Team in Boys Section is Lakshman (Jammu) (Captain), Mohd. Ashraf (Kathua),
Arsalam Rasool Rather (Srinagar), Rohit Singh (Jammu), Sajad Ali Maqbool (Poonch),
Deepankar Sharma (Jammu), Abhishek Chib (Jammu). Mir Danish Manzoor (Anantnag),
Vansh Sharma (Jammu), Rahul Singh (Jammu) Moomin Qayoom (Baramulla) and Akash
Sharma (Jammu).
Mr. Mohd. Yaqoob is the manager of the team and Mr. Mohd. Amin is the coach of the
team.
The UT Team in Girls Section is Kriti (Udhampur) (Captain), Gazala Gulzar (Srinagar), Divya
Chouhan (Samba), Shakura Begum (Kathua), Ravina (Kathua), Taniya Sotra (Samba), Kiran
Katoch (Ramban), Vanshika (Jammu), Sukriti Sharma (Jammu), Divya Wazir (Jammu),
Komal Sharma (Doda) and Meenakshi (Udhampur).
Mr. Mohd. Amin is the manager of the team and Ms. Kajal Devi is the coach of the team.
