বোলিং নিয়ন্ত্রন-এর এক অনবদ্য কাহিনী।
ভারতের প্রথম ইনিংসের ১৩৭তম ওভারে ক্রিজের বাইরে তাঁর পা পড়ায় নো-বল হয়। টেস্টে প্রথম বার ক্রিজের বাইরে পা যাওয়ায় নো-বল হল রবিচন্দ্রন অশ্বিনের। এর আগে কেরিয়ারে ২০,৬০০-রও বেশি ডেলিভারি করলেও কোনওদিন তাঁর পা ক্রিজের বাইরে যায়নি। প্রথম ইনিংসে মোট ৫৫.১ ওভার বল করেছেন অশ্বিন। ভারতের হয়ে এক ইনিংসে এটাই তার এক ইনিংস-এ সর্বাধিক ওভার। এর আগে ২০১১-১২ মরশুমে অস্ট্রেলিয়ার বিরুদ্ধে অ্যাডিলেড টেস্টে ৫৩ ওভার বল করেছিলেন।
