Buckle your shoes and get ready to move your feet and display your talent in our upcoming online dance competition ‘𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣’ which is being organized by our club D'CODE in collaboration with Folk Regiment. Both the dance societies of Dr. SSBUICET, Panjab University, Chandigarh heartily welcome all of you to take part in the event and embrace your talent of dancing.💃🏻🕺

Competition is *‘OPEN FOR ALL’*

🔹The rules are quite simple:
•You can participate solo, duo or even in a group (4 max.)
•Participants must follow the Instagram pages of both the clubs.
•You are free to perform any kind of dance style you like.
•Video should be of 60-90 seconds.
•Last date to send your entry is 18th Feb on [email protected]
•Result will be declared on 28th Feb
•Judgement will be based 70% on the performance and 30% on the number of likes, shares and comments you get on your video.
•The videos will be uploaded on our pages.

One of the most exciting events when one starts with college, is orientation. Orientation provides the first impression of the college life that one is going to experience 🌟

Folk Regiment successfully conducted an induction program on December 3rd, where we welcomed the Batch of 2025. 🎊
We gave the freshers an overview of the club's functioning and tried to entertain them by sharing presentations followed by an interactive quiz. We also presented a video comprising Bhangra performances by our senior members and cabinet team. Apart from our latest performance, we also included snippets from our cultural fest. It's worth mentioning that we got great responses from our juniors! 🌸

We also answered queries of students regarding the club. We'll be glad to have such amazing juniors in our department soon.

Folk Regiment organised a basic Bhangra workshop last year, headed by our ex-president Avneet Kaur, ex- vice president Muskaan Kamboj and ex-secretary Saksham Asdhir. The workshop was quite a fun event. Stay tuned for first chapter of Folk Regiment's Bhangra workshop series!
