Punjab Cricket Association Women Seniors team Wins the Title of 6th Rama Atray Memorial Women Seniors Cricket Tournament
==================================== Punjab Cricket Association beat Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association by narrow margin of only 7 runs & Wins the title of the 6th Rama Atray Memorial Women Seniors cricket tournament Final match was played at New P.C.A.Cricket Stadium , Mullanpur here today.

Sh.Chander Sekhar (IPS ) forner D G.P .of Punjab gave away the Prizes to winning teams.
The Winners team was get Cash prize of Rs.75 thousand and Trophy was given and Runners up team was get Cash prize of Rs.50 thousand and trophy was also given. On this occasion Sh.Vivek Atray , Ex.I.A.S said that this tournament is our effort to promote women's cricket in a big way for our young cricketers.

Chief Scoree, Sh.Daljit Singh , Sh.Amarjit Kumar, Sh.Lakhbir Singh Coach of Punjab, Sh Yoginder Puri Chief coach of Himachal Sh.Vijay Kumar of Manager ( Cricket Development of P.C.A & Brig G.S.Sandhu,Sh Rajesh Tuli & Sh.Harish Kumar, Cricket Coach Were also Present.

Batting first Punjab Cricket Association Women Seniors Cricket team scored 203 all out in 50 overs.Pragati Singh scored highest 61 runs, Avreet Sandhu scored 34 runs , Srishti Rajput scored 28 runs, Neetu Singh scored 21 runs while Prayanka Mutreja scored 20 runs.for bowling side Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association bowler Sonal Thakur claimed 4 wickets , Jyoti Thakur claimed.2 wickets while Neena Chaudhary , Nikita M Chauhan & Nikita S Chauhan all were clained 1-1 Wicket each.In reply Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association women Seniors team all out 196 runs in 44.1 overs and short fall only 7 runs.Sonal Thakur scored 62 not out runs & she remained unconquered till the end,Nikita S Chauhan scired 47 runs,, former Indian Cricketer Sushma Verma scored 46 runs while Kashish Verma scored 14 runs.for bowling side Punjab bowler Priyanka Mutreja claimed 4 wickets , Komal preet Kaur claimed 2 wickets while Priya Kumari,Pragati Singh & Mannat Kashyap all were claimed 1-1 Wicket each.

Punjab Cricket Association Colts beat Delhi Challengers Cricket team by 43 runs & Wins the Title of 29th All India JP Atray Cricket Tournament was played here today at IS Bindra, International Cricket Stadium, Mohali.

Sh.Kultar Singh Sandhwan ,Hon'ble Speaker Punjab Legislative Assembly was Chief Guest & gave away the Prizes to winning teams. On this occasion Sh.Chandersekhar ( IPS ) , Sh.Vivek Atray ( Ex.IAS ) Convenor of the tournament , Capt Sushil Kapoor , Organising Secretary were present The Winners team Punjab Cricket Association colts Cricket team got Rs.3 lacs with Glittering Trophy & Runners up team Delhi Challengers Cricket team got Rs.1.50 lacs Cash & Trophy.

Barting first PCA Colts scored 298 runs in 50 overs for the loss of 8 wickets.Opener Harnoor Singh Scored 89 runs , Sohraab Dhaliwal Scored 74 not out runs, Abhay Chaudhary Scored 52 runs & Shahbaaz Singh scored 27 runs.for bowling side Delhi Challengers bowler Vikas Singh claimed 3 wicket, Vaibhav Arora claimed 2 wickets while Rishi Dhawan & Lalit Yadav both claimed 1-1 wicket.

Chasing the target of 298 runs Delhi Challengers Cricket Team 255 runs all out in 47.1 overs.Rishi Dhawan scored 76 runs ,Mahipal Lomror scored 48 runs, Lalit Yadav scored 37 runs, Shivam Sharma scored 33 runs & Shakir Habib scored 17 runs for bowling side Sohraab Dhaliwal claimed 3 wickets while Sukhdeep Bajwa , Manish Sheoran & Harjas Singh all claimed 2-2 wickets .Kunwar Kuckreja claimed 1 wicket.
