Growth doesn’t come from doing more.
It comes from pausing, reflecting and realizing.
At the Growth Mindset Intensive Workshop, I conducted for the Entrepreneurs, we witnessed what happens when people come together with open minds, listening hearts and unstoppable energy
✨ Breakthroughs happen.
✨ Limiting beliefs are shattered.
✨ Rituals for growth are born.
And the most magical moment?
When participants realized…
The person who will change their life is not me, not their team, not anyone else -
It’s THEM. 💫
Were you there in the room? If not, don't miss the next one!

𝐈𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐈𝐓 𝐨𝐧 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟗𝐭𝐡, 𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟔.
Coming fresh from university, where addressing teachers as 'Sir/Madam' was the norm, I faced my first corporate culture shock - how to address my seniors?
Initially, our entire batch stuck to calling our manager 'Sir.' But gradually, first names became the norm, even with colleagues of our father's age. It felt strange at first, but soon became second nature.
Last year I left IT. Sometime back I joined a spiritual community where everyone adds 'Ji' as a respectful suffix to names. Before I knew it, this habit became deeply ingrained. Interestingly, when I am interacting with corporate professionals, the 'Ji' would slip out automatically, creating subtle moments of cultural disconnect.
This made me realize, we often struggle to consciously develop habits, yet our environment shapes them effortlessly. Whether it was:
✨ The corporate culture normalizing first names
✨ The spiritual community instilling 'Ji' in my vocabulary
✨ My time in naturopathy community influencing health practices
✨ Growth focused rituals emerging naturally in coaching circles

If you want to develop a new habit, don't just rely on willpower. Instead, immerse yourself in communities where that habit is the norm. The environment will do the heavy lifting.
P.S. I am now consciously adapting my communication style back to corporate norms because speaking your profession's language is crucial for meaningful connections.

If I was my version 1, I would have made an excuse.
I didn't do this because...
𝐃𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐡𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 ?
I didn’t call him/her because..
I didn’t wake up early today because..
I didn’t cook today because..
I didn’t go because..
I didn’t read today because..
I didn’t workout today because..
Common phrases right ?
Every time we use this language for things we should be doing, we're not just explaining rather we making excuses.
And you know what our subconscious mind is always listening. And this excuse making habit becomes a part of our identity.
𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐮𝐬 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐭.
We limit our potential for growth
We loose the sense of responsibility.
And we miss opportunities for learning and improvement.
A growth seeker identity is different from an excuse maker identity.
Instead of explaining, the growth seeker analyses it, introspects and ask herself, What did I learn from this ?
A growth seeker is ready with the plan to execute it.
A growth seeker find out where she needs help and seeks help to improve further.
It's about knowing that their growth is hidden in their challenges, being committed to continuous improvement, they believe in taking actions.
So ask yourself today, are you an excuse maker or growth seeker ?
Next time you find yourself making an excuse, take a pause, reflect, reframe your views choosing the language of growth.

𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐧 𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐃𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐂𝐫𝐲?
From a young age, many boys hear phrases like "𝐁𝐞 𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐧" or "𝐁𝐨𝐲𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐜𝐫𝐲" These words seem harmless but carry a powerful message that showing emotion, especially through tears, is a sign of weakness. They internalize this idea, often without realizing its deep impact on their lives.
They start to suppress their emotions and face the consequences of this throughout their life.
✨You know bottling up emotions can lead to increased stress, anxiety and depression. Without healthy outlets, these feelings can intensify over time.
✨When they are not able to express their emotions fully, it becomes difficult to form deep, meaningful connections with business partners, life partner, friends and family.
✨And not only that, it affects their performance at work too. Contrary to the belief that emotions hinder success, emotional awareness can actually improve decision making and leadership skills. Afterall a leader must know how to connect with the people.
✨Moreover, Chronic stress from suppressed emotions can cause physical health issues like headaches, pains in different parts of body, digestive issues and even heart problems.
So, it’s time to challenge our conditioning, the outdated notion of masculinity.
Actually, we have both the energies in the body, masculine and feminine. It is just that most men are more masculine and most females are more feminine.
So, emotions and strong mind both are present in everyone. Both are must in everyone.
It’s very important to understand our emotions in order to understand ourselves.
💫Start by simply recognizing your emotions, without judgment. Acknowledge those feelings.
💫Know that being vulnerable is a strength, not everyone can do that be it a male or female. Start sharing your feelings with trusted friends or family members. It may feel uncomfortable at first, but it gets easier with practice.
💫Seek support from a coach if required to learn healthy emotional expression.
Remember, True strength lies in facing our emotions, not suppressing them. Crying is a natural, healthy response to intense feelings.
𝐎𝐰𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐤, 𝐢𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧. By allowing yourself to feel and express the full range of human emotions, you open the door to better mental health, stronger relationships and a more authentic life.
🙏Please do not teach your kids that strong kids do not cry. Let them feel their emotions and let their emotions flow.
❤️Drop a heart in the comments if you feel your emotions. It’s my honest effort to make everyone realize that emotions are a beautiful way to express our feelings.
Are you ready to challenge the notion that "𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐜𝐫𝐲"?
✅Share this post with someone who you think, hide their emotions and struggle inside a lot.
I really wish their journey to emotional wellbeing starts from here.
Just thought of writing this post today as when some men approached me for life coaching, I realized that the real problem lies in expressing the true feelings. There are men who cry when they are alone. There are men who get into the extra marital affair because they think that their family, their spouse cannot understand them. So, understanding ourselves is a must and for that understanding what we feel and what our true emotions are, is really important and this awareness will come when they will drop this belief that hiding emotions doesn’t make them strong, rather, expressing the real emotions takes a lot of courage.
🙏I would love to know your views on this, feel free to share in the comments or DM me.

"𝐈 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞." "𝐈’𝐦 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐲!" "𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐨 𝐢𝐭 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞!"
These were my constant refrains, the excuses I gave for neglecting everything that needed my attention—whether it was my mental and physical health, having dinner with my husband, or simply spending quality time together.
As an IT professional, my days started at 7 AM, frantically rushing through the morning routine: preparing breakfast and lunch, getting ready for work, and leaving home by 8:45 AM. I would return home by 6 PM, only to continue attending office calls, hurriedly eating dinner, and finally closing my day by 10 PM, often later. My life revolved around office demands, leaving little room for consciousness. Even my leaves were dictated by work priorities and important meetings.
Reading books, a passion of mine, became a luxury I could no longer afford. I remember a time when I was on the bench and could finish reading a book in a couple of days. But those days seemed long gone.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭: 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐲 "𝐌𝐞 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞"
Determined to reclaim my time, I decided to make reading a daily habit. After analyzing my schedule, I realized that distraction-free reading during the day was impossible. We, my husband and I, had a habit of sleeping at 10 PM unless work meetings extended beyond that.
So, I decided to utilize the mornings for my personal time. I began waking up at 5:30 AM, starting my day with meditation, a cup of tea, and some peaceful reading. This "Me Time" became a cherished part of my routine.
Reading "The 5 AM Club" further transformed my life. When the pandemic struck, work demands increased, often stretching from 9 AM to 11 PM. However, being at home allowed me to take necessary breaks throughout the day for household chores. Yet, my "Me Time" remained sacred and uninterrupted in the early mornings.
I started waking up at 4 AM, dedicating this time to meditation, journaling, gratitude practice, reading, and planning my day. This intentional start to my day made me feel in control and deeply satisfied. My mornings were now a time of freedom and fulfillment—a stark contrast to my previously chaotic days.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭: 𝐀 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞
My days became more manageable, and my weekends transformed from unproductive downtime into opportunities for self-growth. No longer was I waiting for weekends to sleep in, go out, or waste time. Instead, I planned my weekends to further my personal and professional growth.
Those three hours in the morning, from 4 AM to 7 AM, gave me everything I needed. I realized that it's all about intentions and managing time. We are never truly too busy; it's just our perception and often an excuse.
𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: 𝐀 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥
Time management is a skill that anyone can learn. By becoming aware of our current schedules, we can carve out more time for ourselves and accomplish what we've been longing to do. Once we gain better control over our time, we gain better control over our lives.
After all, life is to be lived, not wasted.

🔸If deep down you doubt your affirmations, your subconscious mind will resist them. For example, Saying "I am confident" without believing it creates a conflict between your conscious and subconscious mind.
🔸Affirmations needs to be practiced with feelings. If you say "I am successful" but feel nothing, the affirmation lacks power. Emotions are the fuel that approve affirmations into your subconscious.
🔸Affirmations require regular practice. It’s like going to the gym; consistency is key to seeing results.
🔸If you’re affirming positivity but constantly engaging in negative self-talk, you’re undoing the work of your affirmations. The negative thoughts can overpower the positive affirmations.
🔸If your affirmations are too far from your current reality, they can feel fake.
🔸Affirmations alone won’t change your life. You need to take aligned actions. Affirming "I am healthy" is powerful however it must be supported by healthy choices and habits.
So, now you know why affirmations might not work.
✨Affirmations are the powerful tool for transformation however they need the right mindset and practice to work effectively.
