Harnoor, Sohil bowl CCA to easy win
Chandigarh: Led by brilliant bowling performance from medium-pacer Harnoor Singh (5 for 21) and leg-spinner Sohil (4 for 30), Chandigarh Cricket Association (CCA) team beat Ambala Cricket Association (ACA) by 10 wickets in a match played during the Inter-Academy cricket tournament for U-16 organised by Chandigarh Cricket Association-Haryana at the GMSSS, Sector 19, ground on Saturday.
Batting first, ACA were bowled out for 157 in 39.5 overs. Shivam (54) and Mohit (42) were the main scorers for ACA team. Harnoor and Sohil combined well to put ACA on the back foot. In reply, CCA got to the target in 11.4 overs. Openers Jevesh (69 no) and Arjun (67 no), batted well for the winning team.


ACA: 157 all out in 39.5 overs (Shivam 54, Mohit 42, Harnoor 5 for 21, Sohil 4 for 30) lost to CCA: 158 for no loss in 11.4 overs (Jevesh 69 no, Arjun 67 no) by 10 wickets

U 16 cricket meet from Nov 14

Chandigarh: Cricket Association affiliated with Haryana Cricket Association will organise 1st Kewal Kumar Nagrath Memorial cricket tournament for U 16 from November 14 in Chandigarh and Barwala. As many as six teams comprising Karnal, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Panchkula, Chandigarh and Kurukshetra will compete in the invitational tournament. The teams will be divided into two pools during the league cm knock out tournament. Top teams from each pool will be further qualify for Haryana U 16 inter district cricket tournament.
