Parduman Singh Brar was an Indian Athlete who specialized in Shot Put as well as Discuss Throw Events. He secured multiple Medals at the Asian Games. Brar was recognised as a National Champion in the 1950s. He was granted the honorable Arjuna Award in the year 1999, for his outstanding contribution.

Davinder Singh Kang is a well recognised Indian Track and Field Athlete, competing in the Javelin Throw. He won a Bronze Medal at the 2017 Asian Athletics Championships with a best score of 83.29m. Singh became the first Indian to qualify for the final Javelin Throw event at the 2017 World Athletics Championships.

Ravinder Singh Khaira is a well known Indian Javelin Thrower. He was named as one of the core players during the 2014 Commonwealth Games, and it was during the same year when he achieved his best score of 78.02 metres, in the National Inter State Meet, held at Lucknow.

Inderjit Singh Bindra is a Cricket Administrator who served as a President for the Punjab Cricket Association from 1978-2014. Bindra has also contributed his expertise as a Principal Advisor of the international Cricket Council.

Sunita Rani is a well known Indian Athlete from Punjab. She won a Gold Medal at the 1500 m and a bronze Medal in the 5000m, at the 2002 Asian Games. Sunita was awarded with the honorable Arjuna Award in 1999 and Padma Shri, for her tremendous achievements.

Considering the vast outbreak of COVID-19, the Government decides to shut
down 75 Coronavirus Affected Districts till 31st of March.
The decision has been taken after a high end meeting by the Government
Officials, focusing the attention on the safety and security of the citizens. It is
our responsibility to support this initiative by abiding by the current measures
taken for the countrymen’s well being. The Punjab Sports Organisation appeals
to the citizens to stay at home and cooperate with this decision.

Arjun Babuta is one of the youngest talents from Punjab. He is a well known Indian Shooter. He won a Bronze Medal at the ISSF Junior Worldcup at Sydney. Arjun won a Gold as well as a Bronze Medal in the 10m Rifle Event at the ISSF Junior World Cup, held at Gabala.

Randhir Singh is one of the most well known and appreciated Olympic level Trap as well as Ski Shooter. Singh is the recipient of the most prestigious Arjuna Award, bestowed to him in the year 1979. Singh has competed in five Olympics. He successfully won different medals at the 4 Asian Games, where he competed.

Taniya Bhatia was mentioned amongst the five breakout stars in Women's Cricket in 2018, by the International Cricket Council. In January 2020, Taniya was shortlisted in the India’s Squad for the 2020 ICC women T20 Worldcup, in Australia.

Khushbir Kaur is a well known Indian Athlete. She won a Bronze Medal Asian Junior Athletics Championships, held at Sri Lanka. She was honored as the first Indian Sportswoman to have won a Silver Medal at the Asian Games. It was in 2017, when Khushbir was awarded the prestigious Arjuna Award.
