This year was genuinely A LOT. 😭
A full blown home renovation, my mum hospitalised with a broken spine, perimenopause — all while I was in a fat loss phase.
AND I still lost 6.5 kilos in 12 weeks! 😀
Not because life was easy. Because I kept doing five very unsexy things, EVEN on the hardest days.

How have you guys been? 😃
Ok so I have A LOTTTT to catch you up on. This year was GENUINELY a lot — my mum’s surgery, a full blown home renovation, perimenopause, and an aggressive fat loss phase happening all at once.
My emotions were up and down and I discovered kinks in my character that I didn’t think existed! I always thought I was the kindest person alive - no pun intended - but the last few months I saw the WORST of me! 🙈😂
I so proudly started a calorie cut in January but it has been a TRULY humbling experience. Just dieting and feeling HANGRY is one thing, BUTTTT dieting when the stars decided to take an unfavorable turn against me while being in perimenopause is ANOTHER thing entirely! 😩
And I STILL lost 6.5 kilos — although I keep beating myself up for the days and moments I failed! 💜
Am in my last phase of the cut — actually prepping for a shoot which is why I went into the cut in the first place (and of course I really wanted to get to my leanest self - turns out there will ALWAYS be one more niche to loose!!) — and looking forward to getting back into maintenance July onwards! 🙌

I see this over and over again with women over forty…
They’re doing ALL the right things —
eating less 🍽️
training more 🏋️♀️
trying harder 💥
…and their body just stops responding.
That doesn’t mean fat loss is broken.
It means the APPROACH IS.
After 40 (and especially in perimenopause), your body needs:
✔️ enough food
✔️ recovery
✔️ muscle
✔️ a plan that works WITH hormonal changes — not against them
If you’ve been stuck thinking
