Another beautiful moment of recognition for International Gold Medalist Krishan Kumar, who was proudly appreciated by the University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS), Panjab University Swami Sarvanand Giri Regional Centre, Hoshiarpur for his outstanding achievement at the 9th Hero’s Cup International Taekwondo Championship 2026, Thailand. 🇹🇭

Krishan Kumar brought glory to India and Panjab University by winning the GOLD MEDAL 🥇 in Senior Male Kyorugi U-74 kg on the international stage.

It was a matter of immense pride to see him being appreciated in the presence of Respected Chairperson Mrs. Pooja Sood and the esteemed faculty members of the department. 🌟

This recognition is not just about a medal—it celebrates the discipline, dedication and determination of a student-athlete who continues to balance professional education with high-level international sport.

Congratulations on successfully completing the World Taekwondo Technical Delegate Refresher Course in Istanbul, Türkiye. On 26-27 May 2026

For clarity, World Taekwondo conducts various educational and certification pathways such as International Referee (IR), Coach Education, Technical Delegate (TD) courses and refresher programs. These are designed to improve knowledge, skills and professional development within the sport.

Completing a Technical Delegate Refresher Course is certainly an achievement in learning and continued education. However, attending or completing a refresher course and being officially appointed as a World Taekwondo Technical Delegate are not exactly the same thing.

Otherwise, by that logic, attending a leadership seminar would instantly make everyone a CEO, and completing a first-aid course would immediately qualify someone to become a hospital director.

Learning is valuable. Development is valuable. But titles and appointments usually come from official designations, not from hashtags.

Sometimes the certificate is real, but the imagination around it earns an even higher grade.
