Winning the toss and opting to bat first, Gautam Garv and Vageeshwaran provided another solid start with a steady 58-run opening partnership. Gautam contributed 18 before Vagee carried the innings forward with a composed and fluent 58 off 61 balls.

Sanjiv Joseph then joined the act, adding a valuable half-century and stitching important partnerships through the middle overs. Pranav Santhosh Kumar supported well, while late contributions from Jishnu Dharshan helped the team post a competitive 193/5 in 30 overs.

Defending 193, our bowlers started with excellent discipline once again. Gokul and Jishnu Kailash controlled the Powerplay brilliantly, conceding just 24 runs in the first 8 overs.

The middle overs saw complete control from Yashwin, Rahul Narasimhan and Hajeesh, whose tight spells choked the opposition and never allowed the required rate to settle. With the opposition needing over 100 runs in the last 10 overs, the boys maintained their composure and closed out the innings well.

Another disciplined performance from our U-15 boys as they registered a strong 30-run victory against SKA SRMC Porur πŸ’ͺ🏽🏏

Winning the toss and opting to bat first, Gautam Garv and Karan gave the team an excellent start with a solid 74-run opening partnership in 13 overs. Gautam looked fluent throughout his innings, scoring a well-made 43, while Karan contributed a steady 33.

Though wickets fell at regular intervals in the middle overs, useful contributions from Athier, Jishnu and a late cameo from Jebasteen helped the team post 161/9 in 30 overs.

Defending 161, our bowlers started brilliantly, conceding just 29 runs in the first 8 Powerplay overs. Yogeeswaran picked up an early wicket, while Utkarsh maintained excellent control from the other end.

The pressure created upfront was carried beautifully into the middle overs by Yashwin and Athier, whose disciplined spells ensured the opposition never gained momentum. Supported well by the rest of the bowling unit, the boys restricted SKA Porur to 131/9 in 30 overs to seal another impressive win πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ”₯

A disciplined team performance and another strong win for our U-15 boys πŸ’ͺ🏽🏏

Winning the toss and opting to bat first, Gautam Garv and Karan D gave the team a solid foundation with a 62-run opening partnership. Gautam looked positive from the start, scoring a fluent 36 off 33 before being stumped, while Karan continued steadily and added an important 34.

Despite a few quick wickets in the middle overs, Jishnu Dharshan and Pranav Santhoshkumar steadied the innings with a valuable 51-run partnership for the 5th wicket. Pranav contributed a composed 27, while Jishnu added 23. Useful late runs helped the team finish at a competitive 170/8 in 30 overs.

Defending 170, the bowlers delivered with excellent discipline and control right through the innings. Utkarsh Tyagi and Yashwin built pressure with tight opening spells, before skipper Athier led from the front with an impressive spell of 2 wickets. Gautam and Pranav chipped in with crucial breakthroughs as Budding Stars were restricted to 130/4 in their 30 overs.

A thrilling Open Wicket Simulation with learning, resilience and match awareness on full display πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ

MCA A, led by Jebasteen, opted to bat first and had a tough start as wickets fell at regular intervals, leaving them struggling at 59/9. Rushika set the tone early by removing both openers, while Arjun Vishwanath’s impactful spell kept the pressure on.

Just when the innings needed stability, Eshwar and Darsh stepped up brilliantly with counter-attacking knocks of 38 each, lifting MCA A to a competitive 142/12 in 28.4 overs. Contributions with the ball were well spread, with Arjun, Rushika and Utkarsh leading the effort, supported by disciplined spells from the rest.

Chasing 143, MCA B had a shaky start, but a crucial partnership between Darshan and Arjun steadied things. Despite wickets falling at regular intervals, Darshan held one end firmly with a composed 32*, while Natrayan’s quick 31 brought the chase back on track. Captain Hariharan ensured there were no late hiccups as MCA B chased down the target in the 28th over with 16 balls to spare.

A great learning outing for our young players in a friendly match against Game Changerz Academy πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ

Led by Prajan, we won the toss and chose to bat first. After an early setback at 19/3, Arjun Vishwanath and Prithivik Sasidar steadied the innings with a crucial 44-run partnership.

From there, the innings gained momentum with some excellent batting performances. Prithivik led the charge with a brilliant 53 off 31, well supported by Arjun’s composed 40. Aksh*taa added a fluent 30, while Eshwar provided a strong quickfire 40 off 17, helping the team post an impressive 239/9 in 30 overs.

With the ball, it was a complete team effort as every bowler contributed either with wickets or tight spells. The bowlers maintained discipline throughout to restrict Game Changerz to 109/7 in 30 overs, sealing a convincing win.

A strong team performance from our U-14 boys, even while giving opportunities to a few new players alongside the experienced group. Led by Rahul Narasimhan, the boys stepped up with responsibility and intent.

Batting first after being put in, Pranav Santhosh and Viswanth laid a solid foundation with a 100-run opening stand in 16 overs. Pranav contributed 30, while Viswanth anchored the innings beautifully with a fluent 74 off 65. Despite a few wickets in the middle, a late push helped us post 149/8 in 25 overs.

Defending 149, our bowlers came out with excellent discipline, reducing the opposition to 32/5 early in the innings. Yashwin and Utkarsh set the tone, while Srijeesh delivered a tight spell to build pressure.

Kishvanth and Rahul Narasimhan controlled the crucial phases brilliantly, with Rahul leading from the front with a match-winning spell of 4 wickets. The rest of the unit, including the new players, showed great effort and intent as FC XI were restricted to 121/9 in 25 overs.

A solid all-round performance to make it 2️⃣ in 2️⃣ in the WGCA U-16 Tournament πŸ’ͺ🏽🏏

Put into bat on a green wicket, our openers Gautam Garv and Jishnu Dharshan showed great composure, building a steady 37-run stand in the first 10 overs. Jishnu fell while trying to accelerate, but Gautam continued to anchor the innings with a well-crafted 40 off 39.

Vageeshwaran added valuable runs through the middle, while Sanjiv Joseph’s quick 25 and a late push from Rahul Narasimhan helped us post a competitive 149/9 in 30 overs.

Defending 149, the opposition started aggressively, but our bowlers responded brilliantly. The spinners took control of the game, picking up wickets at regular intervals and never allowing momentum to build. Hajeesh, Athier, Gautam and Ajeeshvaran delivered crucial breakthroughs, while Rahul Narasimhan bowled an exceptional spell of control, conceding just 10 runs in 6 overs.

After winning the toss and opting to bat, we had an early setback losing both openers cheaply at 15/2. But what followed was a brilliant counterattack from Mohit Prathap and Vageeshwaran, stitching together an 89-run partnership that turned the game around.

Vagee was at his explosive best, retiring on a quickfire 62 off just 30 balls, while Mohit anchored the innings with a composed 50. Valuable contributions from Gautam, Gokul, Thashwin and Jishnu powered us to a strong total of 203/7 in 23 overs.

With the ball, it was complete domination from the word go. The bowlers showed great discipline and intent, bundling out the opposition for just 31 in 14 overs. Special mention to the young guns Utkarsh and Srijeesh stepping up and delivering impactful spells πŸ‘πŸ½

A strong start to the Summer U-16 Trophy with a commanding performance πŸ’ͺ🏽🏏

After being put into the field, our bowlers made an immediate impact, reducing Believe CC to 22/6 inside the first 9 overs. Ajeeshvaran led the charge with a brilliant spell, well supported by Jishnu Kailash and Gokul as we dominated the early phase.

A resilient 7th wicket partnership from the opposition tested our patience, but the boys held their composure. Athier broke the stand at the right moment and finished things off quickly, as Believe CC were bowled out for 128.

Chasing 129, Niyukth Vishnu set the tone with a fluent innings, anchoring the chase beautifully. Despite a couple of quick wickets, he combined with Athier to take the game away with a positive partnership. Niyukth brought up a well-deserved half-century before retiring on 66, while Athier’s quickfire 30 ensured there were no late twists.

The target was chased down comfortably with 6 wickets in hand and 10 overs to spare πŸ”₯

MCA B, led by Srijeesh N, opted to bat first in this 33-over simulation match.

Prenesh and Rithvik began cautiously before the innings built steadily through partnerships. Contributions across the order kept the scoreboard ticking, with Rithul anchoring the innings brilliantly with an unbeaten 31*. Jenae and Manish added important unbeaten 25s, as MCA B finished at a competitive 150/5. With the ball, Jebasteen led from the front with an outstanding spell of 3-8, well supported by Sai Shashwat who picked up 2-17.

Chasing 151, MCA A had to rebuild after a steady start. Darshan and Aksh*taa stitched a partnership before Akil and Anushka added crucial runs in the middle overs. The chase remained alive till the very end, with Darsh playing a quick cameo and contributions from Shashwat and Akil keeping the pressure on. However, MCA A fell just short, finishing at 144/5 β€” a thrilling 6-run contest.
