Dear Parents
Greetings!!!
Till last week, most of us were worried about mark s, exams, and report cards and prove the ability of our kids to our kith N kin, as parents.
But suddenly, the situation around us has reminded us of something deeper.
Now our concern is not marks… it is the safety, peace, and emotional strength of our families.
This shift teaches us an important lesson to us.
Marks may help a child pass an exam, but *life skills help them face life.
So as parents, along with academics, let us consciously focus on helping our children develop skills such as:
• Emotional resilience –the ability to stay calm and steady during uncertain times
• Clear communication –expressing thoughts and feelings clearly to seek support.
• Critical thinking – analysing situations instead of reacting in panic n nervous.
• Adaptability – adjusting to unexpected changes in life.
• Self-discipline –managing time, effort, and priorities
• Problem-solving ability –looking for solutions rather than feeling helpless n feel pity.
• Empathy and humanity – understanding others and building supportive relationships
• Courage to face challenges – not running away from difficulties
Because the truth is simple:
Exams come and go.
But life will keep testing our children in many different ways.
If we equip them with the right mindset and life skills today, they will be able to balance themselves and move forward courageously— whatever the situation may be.
How many of you agree / disagree?

CBSE conducts board examinations where millions of students sit with dreams in their eyes. They work tirelessly, sacrificing comfort and peace of mind to secure their future. As educators and parents, we understand the weight they carry.
has taken commendable steps to prevent malpractice, including introducing multiple sets of question papers. The intention behind this is truly appreciated.
However, as an educator closely observing students for more than 3 decades, I carry a genuine concern.
Earlier, different sets largely maintained the same difficulty level with minor variations.
Recently, there appear to be noticeable differences in difficulty levels across 3 sets.
When equally prepared students face papers of varying challenge levels, it may unintentionally create imbalance.
Even a strong student may handle a tougher paper, yet slight variations can affect final scores and influence their rank or standing in school.
More importantly, an average or already anxious child receiving a comparatively tougher paper may feel deeply discouraged.
In high-stakes exams, marks impact not only admissions but also confidence and emotional well-being.
Board exams are not merely academic assessments; they are emotional milestones in my humble opinion.
While preventing copying is essential, ensuring uniform difficulty across all sets is equally vital to uphold fairness and protect students’ mental health.
Our children deserve equality not only in opportunity, but also in evaluation.
With respect for CBSE and Prayers for the students.....
A concerned educator.
Only Marks, don't give confidence to your children.
Confidence is a habit which can be built by training n guiding.
Let the children speak up. The school notices only when they speak and thus they are encouraged .
Their confidence level increases.
