We recently hosted a vibrant four-day yoga workshop in Tiruvannamalai, welcoming participants across all age groups and life stages. It was a heartwarming experience to witness: A curious 7-year-old practicing with sheer joy and wonder, A graceful mom-to-be moving with strength and stability, A spirited septuagenarian building mobility and resilience.
This workshop was a reminder that yoga isn’t about how a pose looks — it’s about what our body needs in that moment. Each body, each stage of life, each intention transforms the same pose into a deeply personal practice.

One of the significant contributions of Shri T. Krishnamacharya to yoga is the practice of Asanas by the method of Vinyasa. Vinyasa signifies the intentional and mindful placing or linking of movements (asanas) with the breath, creating a rhythmic and dynamic flow, transforming the practice into a moving meditation.
Starting November 3rd, we take you through a series of Vinyasa sequences of Shri T. Krishnamacharya, which give you a strong and supple body and a calm meditative mind, thus ensuring complete health and wellbeing.

It’s extremely gratifying when students are so “present” in the class. Observing and absorbing their body and minds and even breaths response to the varied movements and breath.
Your take on nature’s creation of man and especially women was absolutely spot on!
Pity, it is not realised that they are in fact the “prime movers” and “stabilizers” in the family and society. But it will also change. As all things change.

Yoga isn’t just about flexibility, it’s about building strength while you do it.
This session with Naveen was all about the balance of strength & flexibility 💪🏽

Back from vacation when you took a break from yoga practice? It is natural to go all out and do an intense practice on the day you resume, because your mind and body are fresh. A big NO. All it does is lead to a sore body the next day. And if that happens it is perfectly fine to use props to help you tide over the soreness.
So remember to ease your body into yoga practice whenever you have taken a break for any reason....vacation or illness.
