HandBall Challengers League

Day 1 Summary:
Today's Tamilvanan Memorial Trophy day 1 started with warm welcome of our chief guest Dr. Balaganesh sir and prayer for our brother Tamilvanan at 8.00 AM in the morning. The chief guest started the first match between Team B and Team C by scoring one goal for each team. The first match was won by Team C with a lead of 6 goals. The second match was between Team A and Team D which was won by Team A with a lead of 6 goals. The evening matches started by 4.00 PM. The first match was between Team A and Team C. Team C won by a goal difference of 1. The next match and final match of day 1 was between Team B and Team D in which Team D won by 3 goals.

We are very happy to celebrate the birthday of Saravana anna who is the goalkeeper of past CEG team . He is a hard-working goalkeeper and a enthusiastic teacher for the juniors. He is a good motivation for the players playing alongside him. He never loses his charisma and always keeps the enthusiasm in the game.

Today Anna Handball family is happy to celebrate the birthday of Divakar Anna who is 2016 passed out from CEG. He is not only an extraordinary back player but also a good motivator. Not only that he is the captain of his team and is one of the best captains CEG team ever got. We once again wish you a very Happy Birthday and have a prosperous year ahead na 🥳🥳

The 4th edition of Tamilvanan Memorial trophy has been successfully completed. At this moment we would like to thank all of the alumni who helped us financially and guided us in making this tournament a success. We would like to thank our juniors and colleagues who helped us in organising this tournament. We would like to thank the Anna University Sports Board for providing us with all the necessary help to make this tournament a memorable one. And finally we would like to thank all the players for their active participation without which this tournament would not be a successful one.
The final match took place around 4 pm between Team Anna and Alumni 3. Team Anna won the match with a lead of 1 goal. Winner and Runner trophies were distributed to the respective team captains. At the end of the tournament, two of the players were awarded with the *Best emerging player* and *Best goalie*.
Best emerging player was awarded to Harshavardhan and Best goalie was awarded to Muthu bharathi. The trophy ended with a nice valuable conversation between players. We once again thank you everyone for making the trophy worthy and memorable.
