We are immensely glad to inform you that SM Durga Sri from GS Boxing Club has won 🥇Gold🥇 in the 🥊National Junior Girls' Boxing Championship 2022🥊 organised by BFI in Imphal, Manipur.

This is the first gold medal won by TN in the Junior Girls' category and the first gold for TN in 21 years across all categories in boxing at the National level!

She has achieved this feat after defeating strong teams like Punjab and Haryana in the semis and finals respectively.

A huge congratulations to Durga Sri for her impeccable feat! A huge congratulations to our coach U Govindaraj, Durga Sri's parents and our nutritionist Sadhvika Srinivas for making this happen!

This is a huge win and important milestone for our whole team! ❤️🥊

Our student, Loshan, won gold at the State Youth Men's Boxing Championship held in Chennai. He is now selected to represent TN at the Nationals!

This is his second time representing TN in the nationals. He earlier represented TN in the Junior Nationals.

Our student, Yuveshwaran, won gold in the State Youth Men's Boxing Championship 2022 two days ago. He is now selected to represent Tamil Nadu in the Nationals!

This is his second trip to the Nationals. He had earlier represented TN in the Junior Nationals and had won Bronze!

The feeling to be working with these kids and to have gotten the opportunity to help shape their future can only be described in one word. Wholesome! ❤️

What started as small acts of kindness during the pandemic has now become a structured unit where we now have the means to impact lives at a large scale. We understand the weight of this responsibility and we are immensely honoured and thankful to all our supporters, donors and well-wishers who have entrusted this responsibility upon us. We promise that we would always strive to be worthy of it.

We are excited at what is ahead of us and hope that a lot of you would join us in this journey of ours 😃❤️
