चेन्नई। हावरंग अकादमी ने चेन्नई जिला ताइक्वांडो चैम्पियनशिप 2026 में शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए ओवरऑल चैम्पियन होने का गौरव हासिल किया। इस प्रतियोगिता में अकादमी के खिलाड़ियों ने उत्कृष्ट कौशल, अनुशासन और समर्पण का परिचय देते हुए कुल 20 स्वर्ण, 13 रजत एवं 10 कांस्य पदक अपने नाम किए। प्रतियोगिता में कुल 42 प्रतिभागियों ने भाग लिया।

Chennai:
Hawrang Academy delivered an outstanding performance at the Chennai District Taekwondo Championship 2026, securing the 1st Overall Position and creating a remarkable milestone. The academy’s athletes showcased exceptional skill, discipline, and determination, winning a total of 20 Gold, 13 Silver, and 10 Bronze medals. A total of 42 participants represented the academy in the championship.

The event witnessed participation across various age categories in both Kyorugi and Poomsae, where Hawrang Academy dominated with consistent excellence across divisions.

The championship was graced by eminent dignitaries. Dr. Ashok Kumar Lenka, National Secretary, Veterans India, attended as the Chief Guest. He was joined by Mr. Sidheswaran (Secretary, Taekwondo Association of Tamil Nadu), Dr. M.S. Baskar (Assistant Commissioner of Police), and Mr. Sebastian Xavier (Olympian & Arjuna Awardee) as distinguished guests. Their presence added prestige and inspiration to the event.

The success of the academy was guided by a strong leadership team led by Manager Kalinga Kumar Lenka, Head Coach A***n Kumar Lenka, and Poomsae Coach Tanushri. The Assistant Coaches Aakash, Harshi, and Lokapradip, along with the support team Mridula, Udit, and Tejas, played a crucial role in preparing the athletes. The overall coordination was managed by Kirubakaran.

The proud participants who contributed to this achievement include Sakshi Tiwari, Naksh, Manvik Mohapatra, Arshiya Gupta, P Aarav Solanki, G. Nidharshanaa, Ravula Nethra, S.R. Dhiyadharshini, Arnav Jha, Abhishek Raj, Krishang Singh Chauhan, Sanjit P, Komal Solanki, Diptanshu Raj, A Lincy Teena, S. Sanjay, Sumaira Kausar, D Shanthosh, Manjunath S Toli, D. Mridula, K. Lokapradip, J. Maria Floritha, Tejaswi Kumar Gupta, Udit Yadav, P. Harshini, and A***n Kumar Lenka.

Speaking on the occasion, the academy officials congratulated all the players and emphasized that this success is the result of their hard work, discipline, and dedication.
