This is a humble effort to fulfill my Guru Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati's mandate to spread and practice yoga moment to moment.
Why do we play games in the Bala yoga Abyasa?
These games are designed to improve awareness. Awareness is the key to building more confidence, higher productivity, better emotional management and decision making. The practice of asanas, pranayama, games and chanting together forms a solid combination to bring about higher awareness among the kids who come for these sessions .
Mom and Kids Camp
I heard the mothers say, "never knew my child had a leader within" ,
"I didn't know she could eat so well by her self;
"Never imagined my 6 year old could be so independent "
"I understood that I don't have to scream and shout to get my child to listen to me"
"I understood that they respond to silence better"
It was two days of fun, laughter, games, yogic practices, seva, story telling, free play, fire fly gazing, meditations which the child and mother did together.

Mahashivratri Shadana is always special.
This year we had our Bala Yoga group leading the Shadana.
Yoga is not just practice of asna and pranayama. It is a lifestyle. The families of Satyam Sakthi Yoga centre came together to chant and spend time in prayer for the welfare of the universe.
What better way to inculcate good sanskara in children!!
