Mudfest – Our Gravel DNA

Mudfest has always been our go-to gravel platform—built around a Reynolds double-butted steel frame.

Clearance for 40C tyres + fenders, and all the mounts you’ll ever need—for racks, panniers, and bottle cages—ready for daily rides or full-blown bikepacking adventures.

The geometry?

Dialed for that sweet spot between fast endurance and randonneuring comfort.

But lately… we’ve been asked

“Can we run a carbon fork?”

Short answer: Yes.

Long answer:

We could go for an oversized head tube for tapered forks—but that breaks the classic steel aesthetic we love.

So instead, we’ve been experimenting with 1 1/8” straight steerer carbon forks on the Mudfest.

What changes?

• Slightly more aggressive position (lower stack)

• Limited spacers (carbon steerer constraints)

• Sharper front-end feel

• Lighter setup

Same steel soul.

Now with a sharper edge.

The frame is made of Reynolds tubes. Comes fitted with a reliable mullet 2x10 drivetrain that offers a wide range of gears for different terrains and loads.46/30T FSA crankset combined with 11-40T cassette provides enough gear range to tackle steeper gradients. ST are tubeless-compatible rims that can be converted to run without inner tubes for better puncture resistance and ride quality. 650B x 50c tyres offer a balance between speed, comfort, and grip.

With a low and high gear inches of 20 and 112 and comfortable increments, it makes sure you are never out of gears.

Built with a Reynolds double-butted steel tubes . -axle steel frame and a unicrown fork, it’s designed for long-distance comfort and real-world versatility.

The frameset offers 40C tire clearance with fenders and available in both Flat Mount and IS mount disc brake options, giving riders maximum build flexibility.
