Every kilometer tells a story of hard work and sacrifice. Vivek Lama (Jojo) has successfully completed the 21K marathon in Darjeeling, demonstrating that real victories are achieved through dedication and perseverance long before the actual race day.

This accomplishment is not merely about running 21K; it is about consistently showing up every day, even when no one is watching, and pushing through the challenging hills of Darjeeling with discipline, patience, and heart. Truly inspiring.

Living upto the motto of our club "Let's Inspire". 🙇🙇🙇

We are thrilled to share that on 10th November, our very own brothers Samten, Sangay and Adib—three talented youths at the peak of their strength and spirit—successfully summited Annapurna Base Camp and proudly hoisted the YFC Jorebungalow flag at the top. 🏔️⚽🔥

In a place where the headlines often highlight the negatives, our youths are rewriting the story of Jorebungalow with courage, unity and purpose. Through football, community service, adventure and discipline, they are showing the younger generation that real pride comes from hard work, passion and choosing the right path.

From hosting community tournaments to donation drives and clean-up campaigns, YFC Jorebungalow has always stood for positive change. And today, this achievement at Annapurna is not just a climb—it’s a message:
👉 When youths rise, the whole community rises.
👉 When we choose sports over social evils, we choose a better future.

To all the young ones in Jorebungalow—
✨ Stay inspired. Stay united. Stay away from drugs and negativity.
✨ Choose dreams that take you higher—just like our brothers did.

Let’s keep the Jorebungalow spirit alive, and let the name of our home always fly high with pride! 🖤💛

YFC Jorebungalow – For the Youth, For the Community, For a Better Tomorrow.

The Guest Of Honour of the day.
Our very own from Jorebungalow, 97 years young Retired Lt. Colonel J. D. Rai Sir.

Whilst at Army as a player for National Defence Academy (NDA) he participated in the Asia’s oldest Football Tournament, the prestigious Durand Cup in 1953.

With the team he reached the finals where they eventually lost 4-0 against the mighty Mohun Bagan which had famous players like Sailen Manna and Rabi Das.

What a privilege to have a Hero amongst us, that too a proper Jorebunglay.

Thank you Sir for your time and kind encouragement to the young ones. Always an inspiration to us.

After 3 years of silence, YFC Jorebungalow has once again come alive—this time not because of the old guards, but because of our juniors. 🙌

We feel truly proud and grateful to see our younger brothers take such a big step in organizing and concluding a football tournament for our place our home Jorebungalow.

In a time when opportunities are rare and support is minimal, standing up and taking initiative is never easy. But you’ve shown courage, leadership, and love for the game. For us, this is not just an event—it is the beginning of a new journey, a fresh path carved by the new generation.

From the bottom of our hearts, we want to say thank you and assure you of our full support. May you continue to bring forward new ideas, new energy, and new hope for YFC and football in our place.
