I wanted to talk about change in body composition and how to see yourself when adding more muscle/noticing the scale increase.
First things first, the number on the scale doesn’t matter. It’s a tool for measuring progress, but it’s not the end all say all.
To me, what’s more important, is the way you look at yourself in the mirror. Do you talk to yourself positively or negatively? I’ve talked on this before because how you talk to yourself is important! Right now, I am eating ALOT of food. I’ve noticed my body change from being lean to thick really fast, but guess what? This is okay! It would make sense this would happen as my food has increased almost every week since my cut. I actually prefer myself to look this way. I have learned to appreciate my body in all phases, rather than just enjoying my physique when I’m lean. I currently weigh around 155lbs right now.
