here are places where time moves fast… and then there is Nizamuddin Basti, where time gently pauses.
During my walk, every turn revealed a story—from the humble resting place of Nizamuddin Auliya to the poetic silence of Mirza Ghalib nearby. It felt as if the Delhi of sultans and sufis still lives quietly in these lanes.
As evening descended, the sound of qawwali rose like a prayer, wrapping the entire basti in a magical, nostalgic embrace. In that moment, I realized—this is not just Delhi you see… this is Delhi you feel.
