The delegation, including Ms. Yuko Kato, Dr. Gennady Tyshler HPD, and Selection Commission Member Sagar Lagu, met Shri Rajeev Mehta, Secretary General, FCA & FAI, today at his Delhi residence.

Today, Ms. Vandana Sinha, Advocate and member of the Safe Sports Commission (Internal Complaint), met with Mr. Rajeev Mehta at his residence. They engaged in a thought-provoking discussion on strategies to enhance fencing as a sport in India and promote Indian fencers at the national and international levels. We anticipate that this meeting will contribute significantly to the development and growth of fencing in India.

FCA Referee Seminar happening at NCOE Aurangabad, 16th-20th March 2026..

The newly established High-Performance Centre (HPC) at the Sports Authority of India’s Netaji Subhash National Institute of Sports (NSNIS) in Patiala is getting a thumbs up from Indian fencers! 😊 The centre, built at a cost of Rs 22.83 crore, offers top-notch facilities like an indoor fencing hall, strength and conditioning facilities, and sports science services. The Indian senior sabre team is already training here, eyeing podium finishes at the Asian Games in Japan. Fencers like Bhavani Devi and KP Gisho Nidhi are hopeful that this centre will take Indian fencing to the next level. 🏅
