Dekho Apna Desh “Purvottar Ko Jano, Bharat Ko Jano” North East on Wheels, Session-2 was organized by Amazing Namaste Foundation at Jowai, Dist. West Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya on 21st November, 2023.
The objective of the Accessible Awareness Ride Dekho Apna Desh “Purvottar Ko Jano, Bharat Ko Jano” was to understand the History, Geography, Language, Food, Costumes, Art-culture and Tribal life of the North-Eastern states and to bring the North-East closer to the rest of India.
19 Falcon Riders [Ms. Varsha Chakraborty, Ms. Preethi, Ms. Sharvari, Ms. Vadhehi, Mr. Aameer, Mr. Govinda, Dr. Atit, Mr. Saravana, Mr. Karan, Mr. Prasad Jog (Ride Coordinator), Mr. Prasad, Mr. Santosh Bam, Mr. Airban Dey (Ride Leader) Mr. Sikham, Mr. Gautam, Mr. Shibiril Singh, Mr. Sapan (Driver), Mr. Aynal (Mechanic), Mr. Nikhil (Driver)] were part of the Dekho Apna Desh “Purvottar Ko Jano, Bharat Ko Jano” Ride.
North East on Wheel Session 2 started from Guwahati on 17th November, 2023 and return back to Guwahati via Tura, Shillong, Dawki (Indo-Bangladesh Border), Jowai, Haflong, Kaziranga on 26th November, 2023 and covered distance 1500km in 10 days.
