IITF - Meghalaya Pavillion

The Meghalaya Pavilion at the India International Trade Fair has seen a remarkable response. All the participating entrepreneurs and Govt. Deptts. sold a lot of their products. Horticulture, Agriculture, Sericulture, Khadi Industry, all were received well and achieved good numbers in terms of sale.

The Pavilion was created in a smaller space than the previous years but it was managed very well and saw an unprecedented response from the buyers.

The interactive zone saw a lot of activity with tea samplings and black, red and white sticky rice pudding sampling.

A very successful tea tasting session by Meg Tea was organised at IITF Meghalaya Pavilion. The visitors relished the warm cups of tea on a beautiful winter day and loved the variety and freshness of Meg Tea!

You are cordially invited to a tea tasting session at the Meghalaya Pavilion at India International Trade Fair, Hangar Number 1, Pragati Maidan from 3 pm onward. The session is being organised by Meg Tea.

The startup culture that took the world by storm is also prevalent in Meghalaya.

The State has a number of startups that are increasingly growing and are an important addition to the Meghalaya’s economy.

Rooted in traditional methods and fields, these startups range from arts and handicrafts to local cuisines, fashion and technology.

Taking inspiration from the startup culture in Meghalaya, the pavilion at India International Trade Fair – 2017 was designed.

Country Spices conducted a product sampling activity at IITF Meghalaya Pavilion 2017. The samples included black, white and red sticky rice pudding. The pudding was made using milk, dry fruits and jaggery, which made it a healthy alternative for people with a sweet tooth.

There was also a special attraction for children who, much to their delight, got to taste dark chocolate pudding made with black sticky rice.

Day 1 of IITF at the Meghalaya Pavilion opened and attracted a large amount of guests. The stalls at the pavilion, selling indigenous goods were very successful.
