A celebration of everything we have in our bodies and in the nature outside.
A union of us and the universe.
A place where the breath meets the body and beyond.
That’s Lifeyoga.

No matter how much we wish for life to go in a straight line, it often moves in circles.

Make space for the spirals that you experience so you can return to where you started from. So you can return to your centre.

A quiet escape to breathe and be. That’s Lifeyoga.

Our teachers make us who we are at Lifeyoga. They don’t just lead classes. They hold space for practitioners to make mistakes, let go of their ego, and challenge themselves both physically and mentally.

Meet Anuj Rana, a Hatha Yoga teacher with over 1,000 hours of training.

One of the most beautiful aspects of Hatha Yoga lies in its name. Ha means sun and Tha means moon in Sanskrit, representing the balance of opposing energies. Through breath, movement, and stillness, Hatha Yoga cultivates strength, focus, and inner harmony.

Sadness often feels permanent while we are inside it.

But yoga reminds us that every experience, whether pleasant or painful, is constantly changing. Thoughts change. Emotions change. Circumstances change.

Suffering deepens when we believe a difficult moment will last forever. Freedom begins when we recognise that it will pass, just as every moment before it has.

This understanding does not make us indifferent to sadness.

It lets us meet sadness with patience instead of fear.

And perhaps that is where lasting happiness comes from:
not from avoiding sadness, but from knowing it was never here to stay.

What we see and practise as yoga today is only a small part of the many paths and practices that guide us towards its ultimate goal: transcending ego, suffering, and worldly attachments by quieting the fluctuations of the mind, or vrittis.

Through working with the body and the breath, each of us is simply preparing the physical self to reveal our true, undisturbed nature.

This International Yoga Day, we at Lifeyoga invite you to explore the deeper meaning of yoga. So the next time you struggle to get into a pose, remember: yoga is not about how it looks on the outside, but about how it feels on the inside.

More than just a physical practice, Functional Stretch is an invitation to reconnect with the body in a playful, intuitive, and conscious way.

This movement exploration helps with releasing stiffness, improving mobility, and creating space for lightness and expression.

And we invite you to discover this for yourself.
